unload and load materials onto or from shipping containers, pallets, racks, and shelves.\nMaintain inventory controls by collecting stock location orders, printing requests, recording amounts of items received, and counting of physical inventory.\nOperate manual dollies, manual platform lifts, pallet jacks, hand trucks, and hand tools used in warehouse operations safely and as instructed.\nIdentify obvious damage to equipment and materials through visual inspection.\nStock, arrange, and rotate warehouse items in accordance with standard operating procedures and/or guidance from supervisor.\nPrepare orders by ensuring correct products and quantities are picked and prepared for shipment.\nPack and weigh any orders that require such handling when necessary.\nMatch invoices to shipping labels.\nStage material in proper location for shipment\nOperate voice directed picking equipment - able to hear and speak into headset.\nAttention to detail and ability to follow directions to meet deadlines.\nFollows all safety and security procedures.\nMeet or exceed accuracy and productivity expectations.\nAssist in other departments of the warehouse, as necessary.\nSupervisory Responsibilities:\nNone\nWork Environment:\nMust be able to work in a warehouse environment with variable noise levels, lighting conditions, and temperature variations.\nDue to forklifts and other equipment traveling through the warehouse the environment can be noisy, dusty, may emit gas fumes, and create excessive vibrations.\nPhysical Demands:\nMust be able to move around in a large, fast-paced warehouse for 8 or more hours.\nRequires the ability to lift, carry, push, or pull up to 75lbs frequently.\nProlonged periods of standing and walking on concrete surfaces.\nRequires bending, squatting, climbing, and reaching.\nRequires the use of hands for simple grasping and fine manipulations.\nExpected Hours of Work:\nMust be available during standard operating hours, Monday through Friday.\nStart and end times may vary due to operational need.\nRemaining flexible with working schedules is required, to include working overtime, evenings, and weekends.\nTravel:\nNone\nRequired Education, Experience and Skills:\nMust have the ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English for business and safety purposes.\nMust be at least 18 years of age.\n1 to 2 years of related experience and/or education\nForklift certifiable\nMust be an adaptive learner with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously, maintain focus and adapt to a variety of challenges.\nPositive attitude - work as part of a team and/or independently\nEstablish and maintain cooperative and effective working relations with people in different functions.\nActive listening skills\nBasic math, reading, and voice comprehension are a must.\nAbility to read packs, order labels, other information and match visible items and other data.\nMaintain regular attendance.\nPreferred Education, Experience and Skills:\nReliable transportation\nPrevious knowledge of voice replenishment and RF equipment a plus\nPrevious receiving experience preferred.\nBasic knowledge of general warehouse layout, item identification, warehouse procedures, and storage areas to pull stock and materials.\nAdditional Eligibility Qualifications:\nTo perform the job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
