providing and maintaining multiple Kubernetes clusters\nDefine infrastructure and deployments as code, and maintain and improve our GitOps workflow to streamline deployment processes\nCollaborate with developers to design and implement CI/CD solutions with deployments to various targets, ranging from Kubernetes to our power plants themselves\nOperate and evolve our Kafka-based data streaming platform, including scaling, upgrades, and ensuring reliable data flow\nOperate and scale our analytical and time-series databases (ClickHouse, InfluxDB), including performance tuning, backup and recovery, and upgrades\nHelp shape and implement our cybersecurity strategy, document our system landscape and configurations, and support audits as well as compliance and reporting requirements (e.g., under NIS2 and the CRA)\nYour profile\nMaster’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field and at least 3 years of experience in a DevOps or related role, alternatively, at least 5 years of relevant professional experience\nProficiency in deploying, managing, and scaling Kubernetes clusters\nStrong understanding of networking, security, and system administration\nFamiliarity with observability tooling for metrics and logs (e.g., Prometheus, VictoriaMetrics, Loki, VictoriaLogs, Grafana)\nHands-on experience with infrastructure as code using Terraform\nExperience with operating data streaming platforms and operating databases\nFamiliarity with regulatory frameworks such as NIS2 or the CRA is a plus\nSkill in prioritizing speed in the short term when necessary, while ensuring no long-term compromises on maintainability and robustness\nStrong problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities\nExcellent English skills (at least C1 level)
