The copy editor will support the Director of Editorial with various medical editing tasks. The ideal candidate has prior agency and pharmaceutical experience, works independently, and can flex their schedule when needed to support tight deadlines, including occasional work outside normal business hours.\nFreelance commitment: hours may vary based on project workload and deadlines.\nWhat you'll do\nTake ownership of medical editing activities for multipleprojects;working on content with guidance from SVP of Editorial Services, Managing Editor, Editorial Supervisor, or Senior Editor, while working cross-functionally. \nHelp ensure production of high-quality copy, both factually and grammatically,with regard toscientific content, organization, clarity, accuracy, format, consistency, and adherence to regulatory and internal guidelines, styles, and processes. \nRequirements\nA minimum of 1.5 years’ experience editing in a health care, medical, or pharmaceutical environment\nA developing knowledge of AMA style\nComfort with diverse and constantly changing clientstyles\nSuperb organizational skills\nAn ability to simultaneously manage multiple projects across a collection ofbrandteams\nFully invested team players, willing to take whatever strides are needed to support a colleague or brand at shortnotice\nUnflinching willingness to do all that it takes to meet an aggressivedeadline\nA persistent detail sifter with an aptitude for checkingfacts\nPerpetual interest in challenging yourself across an exciting range of pharmaceuticalbrands\nWhat MattersatRevHealth:\nLeave yourfingerprint -Your voice, your mind, your mark-they matter.
