Every laptop we process is one fewer going to a shredder, and one more going to someone who needs it. To do that at scale, we need to procure many more laptops through partnerships and collaboration with existing industry players - and that's where you come in.\nWhat you'll actually do\nHelp us bring used laptops in the door, so that we can continue to train our robots and make them faster, more reliable, and generalizable. You'll research the organizations that retire large volumes of laptops each year, identify the right people inside them, and open conversations. You'll build the target list, draft the outreach, and work email and LinkedIn to schedule meetings on my calendar. As you find your footing, you'll start running those meetings yourself.\nThis is a real BD role with real outcomes. You'll see exactly how your work translates into laptops diverted from shredders and into the hands of people who need them.\nWho we're looking for\nYou've done some version of sales, fundraising, or persuasive outreach before - a product, a nonprofit, a cause you cared about. You know what \"no\" feels like and you keep going.\n\nYou're a strong writer. Cold emails, LinkedIn notes, and follow-ups are most of the job, and good ones get replies while bad ones don't.\n\nYou genuinely care about climate, digital equity, or both. The work has a long feedback loop, and the people who thrive here are the ones who believe in where it's going.\n\nBonus: any exposure to enterprise IT, sustainability reporting, procurement, or the circular economy.\n\nLogistics\nIn-person at our Brooklyn NYC office.
