This is an office-based role only; remote working is not available.\nAbout the role\nWe are looking for an exceptional engineer to build Revnu with us from the earliest stage. You will work directly with the founders across product, infrastructure and AI systems, with the freedom and responsibility to shape how the company builds.\nThis is a high-agency role. You will find important problems, make good decisions with incomplete information and carry work all the way into production. We care much more about what you have built and shipped than your previous companies, credentials or years of experience.\nNew graduates are encouraged to apply. Art and George, Revnu's founders, are both 21-year-old University of Manchester dropouts. The bar is the same for everyone: evidence that you can learn unusually quickly, exercise strong judgement and turn ambiguous ideas into excellent working software.\nWhat you'll work on\nThe core agent that works as a growth hire for each customer, choosing and running experiments across SEO, outbound, ads, social and whatever channel makes sense next\nThe shared intelligence that carries a useful learning from one channel into every other channel, so the product develops a real understanding of demand for each customer\nThe systems that keep long-running agents dependable in production, including durable memory, scheduled work, sandbox lifecycle, tool execution, recovery and observability\nThe trust layer between an agent and a founder, so work moves from draft to delivered with the right approvals, clear status and safe ways to intervene\nThe measurement loops that connect replies, rankings, clicks and conversions to the agent's next decision, so it can stop what is failing and do more of what works\nThe Slack, iMessage, web and dashboard experiences customers use to direct the agent, review its work and understand what actually shipped\nWho we're looking for\nYou have built something from zero to one and thrive in ambiguity. That could be a company, a product, an open-source project or something you made because it needed to exist\nYou have unusually high agency. You spot what matters, move quickly and finish what you start\nYou are comfortable going deep anywhere in the stack, including frontend, backend, infrastructure and ML or agent systems, with strong technical taste in at least one area\nYou have worked with LLMs in production or are hungry to become excellent at it\nYou make good decisions quickly with incomplete information and are honest when something is not working\nYou can work in person from our Manchester office with a small team that moves quickly\nYou may be an experienced engineer or a new graduate. We care about the quality of your work, not the shape of your CV\nBonus points\nYou have built production systems with Convex\nYou have worked with Cloudflare Workers or other edge infrastructure\nYou have built with isolated execution environments such as E2B, containers or virtual machines\nYou have operated multi-agent or long-running LLM systems in production\nWe aim to move from first contact to offer in about two weeks.\n1. Application review. Send your CV, a short note about why this role feels like you, and one example of something you have built. We care most about what you personally owned and the result.\n2. Founder conversation, 30 minutes. We will discuss the work you chose, how you handle customers, how you approach unclear problems, and what you want from the role. We will also be direct about the in-person setup and the pace.\n3. Paid working session in Manchester. You will work through a realistic customer and operations problem, decide what matters, and produce a clear plan or working solution. This is about judgment, ownership, communication, and getting something useful finished.\n4. Team conversation and offer. You will meet the people you will work with, ask anything you want, and hear a clear decision quickly.
