You’ll support inspections, calibrations, preventive maintenance, and changeovers to minimize downtime and maintain efficient production flow.\nYou’ll work closely with production supervisors and leads to ensure equipment operates correctly while supporting the assembly line and production team as needed to meet production goals.\nWhat You'll Do\nTasks may be routine and repetitive within any of the food production or warehouse departments.\nFollow simple recipes and instructions to prep, cut, chop, slice, assemble, stock, sort, stage, and process products, raw materials, and meals in all operational areas.\nWork within the assembly and oven departments, supporting any/all production areas as needed based on business needs.\nMaintain the pace and flow of the production team to meet specific requirements and KPIs.\nTest, troubleshoot, monitor, and inspect tray sealers, flow wraps, conveyors, metal detectors, and other equipment, including PMs.\nCorrectly set up assembly line machines and ensure proper functioning for optimum efficiency.\nKeep machines running with minimal downtime, including during changeovers, shifts, material changes, calibrations, specifications, and between rest periods.\nRack products, debox materials, assemble food products and meals, and break down boxes and containers as needed.\nParticipate in changeovers, washing down lines, sanitizing workspaces, monthly inventory counts, sorting, and staging.\nMaintain a food-safe environment in compliance with State, Federal, and Revolution Foods food safety policies.\nDispose of garbage and recycling daily, clean and sanitize receptacles, and support the “Green Waste” program by separating waste.\nFollow Good Manufacturing Practices by maintaining a clean, organized, sanitary, and hazard-free workstation.\nMaintain a safety-first environment, including dry floors, proper floor drain coverage, and proper knife or equipment use and storage.\nEstablish a culture of respect, hard work, consistency, and effective communication with all team members.\nPerform other duties as needed.\nGood attendance and punctuality are required and will be monitored closely. The company follows a point system used for evaluation, probation periods, and disciplinary actions as needed.\nWhat You Bring\nPrevious experience in a fast-paced fresh food handling environment is preferred.\nPrevious machine operator experience in a food manufacturing environment is preferred.\nAbility to read, write, and speak basic English.\nAbility to think critically and analytically and troubleshoot equipment.\nKnowledge of safe and proper food handling procedures and knife handling is preferred.\nCommitment to the Revolution Foods mission that all children will have access to nutritious, tasty food to support the development of healthy minds and bodies.\nAbility to routinely work in a chilled, damp factory environment.\nAbility to physically perform job requirements and routinely lift 40-50 pounds.\nAbility to work well with others and communicate effectively as part of a team.\nKnowledge of Good Manufacturing Practices is helpful.\nAbility to work a flexible schedule, including overtime and/or covering varied shifts.\nMinor mechanical skills required.\nWorking Conditions\nWork is within a factory setting with chilled temperatures at 50 degrees and below. Exposure to wet, damp, and cold conditions is expected.
