You will contribute to a globally distributed enterprise network, focused on designing, deploying, and securing mission-critical infrastructure that supports large-scale federal operations. \nThe environment is complex, multi-vendor, and security-intensive, requiring engineers who can operate across both network engineering and network security domains. \nPosition Description\nWe are seeking a Senior Network Engineer who will design, implement, and support enterprise network and security solutions at scale. This is not a ticket-based operations role; you are expected to solve complex problems, improve architecture, and contribute to system evolution. \nYou will work across routing, switching, security, and cloud connectivity, while collaborating with peers to ensure performance, resilience, and security across the network. \nVeterans are encouraged to apply.\nWhat You'll Do\nAs a Sr Network Engineer you will: \nDesign, deploy, and operate enterprise network and network security solutions \nTroubleshoot complex network issues across multi-layered environments \nAnalyze packet captures using tools such as Wireshark and tcpdump \nImplement and manage solutions across vendors including Cisco, Palo Alto, Juniper, and F5 \nSupport network security capabilities including firewalls, IPS (Cisco FTD), and secure remote access \nDesign and support SD-WAN and hybrid connectivity architectures \nConfigure and troubleshoot routing protocols (BGP, OSPF, EIGRP, MPLS) \nSupport cloud connectivity solutions (AWS Transit Gateway, Azure ExpressRoute, Direct Connect) \nDevelop or modify scripts (Shell, Perl, Tcl, F5 iRules) to automate tasks or enhance functionality \nUse monitoring and logging tools (SolarWinds, Splunk) for visibility and diagnostics \nTest network solutions using tools such as Ixia \nCreate and maintain network diagrams and documentation (Visio) \nWhat You Bring (Requirements)\nBaseline Requirements\nBachelor’s degree in a technology-related field (or equivalent experience.\n5+ years of experience designing and implementing medium to large-scale networks.\nAbility to obtain and maintain a Public Trust clearance.\nMUST be a US citizen or permanent resident.
