This role is responsible for managing reporting tasks, data management and maintaining cross-functional communication, and processing a small portion of purchase order data. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment, has strong organizational and critical thinking skills, and demonstrates accountability from start to finish.\nMajor Responsibilities:\nEssential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.\nSupport Buyers in key functions and meetings including but not limited to sketch review and buy meetings.\nResponsible for running various reports, reorder management, product templates.\nSupport Buyers with creation of trend & merchandising decks, sales reporting & recaps, troubleshooting/investigation and preparation of key department functions.\nEmail correspondences in a timely and communicative manner.\nAttending and participating in key meetings.\nAssist buyers with day to day administrative tasks.\nBuild strong relationships with buyers, sales analysts, product developers and designers.\n\nRequired Competencies:\nTo perform the job successfully, an individual should demonstrate the following competencies:\nHigh level of attention to detail.\nAbility to demonstrate logical thinking, critical thinking and problem-solving skills.\nAbility to multi-task and prioritize while staying organized under tight deadlines and fast paced environment.\nHigh sense of urgency, punctuality and timeliness.\nFlexible personality willing to take direction and change as business needs change/grow.\nMust have a strong work ethic and motivation to learn.\nStrong verbal and written communication skills.\nStrong analytical skills, good judgment, creativity, and enthusiasm.\nWorks well individually, as well as, with a team.\nMust be able and willing to lift and carry up to 10 lbs., perform frequent repetitive finger, hand and wrist motions, as well as, bending, stooping, reaching, squatting, kneeling, pushing, and pulling.\nMust be able to sit for extended periods of time.\n\nMinimum Qualifications:\nDegree in Fashion, Merchandising, Merchandising Management or similar field.\n1+ year work experience in assistant/admin level position within Buying or Merchandising department or similar field.\nProficient in Gmail, Excel, Word and online navigation.\nUnderstanding of trends and key items.\nA successful candidate works well in a dynamic environment with minimal supervision.
