You’ll own defining and supporting the tools and pipelines to power the\nSDLC and make peers productive as they leverage them.\nEvangelize the core tenets of cloud service reliability and provide application teams \nwith the tools, methods and metrics to excel at them. You’ll help ensure our\nproduction architectures in the cloud are highly available and fault tolerant.\nTake on technical tasks that are highly ambiguous with lots of unknowns. You’ll use \nyour technical expertise and mental resilience to identify that something is wrong\nand identify what that something is, and create innovative solutions\nHelp educate internal teams on DevOps best practices in all aspects of our SDLC.\nWrite clean, maintainable, and reusable code that adheres to best practices and \ncoding standards.\nConduct thorough code reviews and provide constructive feedback to ensure a high-\nquality codebase.\nOptimize cloud infrastructure and ensure scalability and reliability.\nWork to implement security controls and improve the security posture of our cloud \ninfrastructure and network architecture.\nStay up-to-date with the latest trends and advancements in cloud computing, cloud \nsecurity and cloud infrastructure.\nImplement and enhance infrastructure as code such as Terraform and Pulumi to \nautomate the deployment of cloud infrastructure.\nWork with a myriad of AWS services, Docker, Linux, Github Actions, Jenkins and \nPython.\nWork in an Agile/Scrum environment with your core team as well as partner teams.\nBe a key member of our cloud infrastructure site reliability by participating in our \non-call rotation.\nMinimum Requirements:\nSpecific Job Skills:\nExperience with Python is a plus.\nExperience with Infrastructure-as-Code technologies like Pulumi, Terraform, and \nCloudFormation.\nKnowledge and understanding of Git.\nExperience with various AWS services such as EC2, ECS, IAM, and VPC.\nKnowledge and understanding of Docker, Linux, Shell/Bash and virtualization \ntechnologies.\nKnowledge and understanding of CI/CD methodologies such as Jenkins, CircleCI or \nGithub Actions.\nExperience with various organization/code tools such as Jira, Confluence and \nGitHub.\nEducation: BS Degree or equilivent work experience\nExperience: N/A\nSupervision: N/A\nCertifications: N/A\nLanguage Skills:\nAbility to read, analyze and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures or governmental regulations.
