Technical Support Developer

Job Title: Technical Support Developer

Qualified candidates must have a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or a minimum of 5 years’ experience with software development.

Responsibilities

• Provide Level 2 (development) support for customer reported issues
• Triage, Troubleshoot and remediate defects
• Communicate directly with customers if necessary to expedite issue resolution
• Participate in daily stand ups to communicate progress on assigned tasks or assist other team members with theirs.

Technical Requirements

• 5 years’ experience across full stack (.NET or JAVA)
• Proven history of user interface design/development
• Thorough knowledge of SDLC (Software Development Life Cycle)
• Experience with intermediate/advanced level MSSQL queries
• Experience of building web applications using JavaScript/JQuery
• Working knowledge of a service-oriented web application.

Knowledge in the following areas are preferred but not required:

• Git/GitHub and Jira
• Credit Card/ACH and other financial transaction implementation
• Angular
• Knowledge of database development, ideally SQL
• Microsoft SQL Server
• JScape

Language Skills:

Ability to read, analyze and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from a variety of both internal and external sources.
