Overview\nWe are looking for an experienced Procurement Category Lead to manage and drive procurement strategy across Operations, Facilities, HR, Sales & Marketing categories.\nThe role will be responsible for developing category strategies, leading strategic sourcing, and negotiations, managing supplier relationships, driving cost optimization, and partnering with business stakeholders across global markets.\nThe ideal candidate should have strong procurement fundamentals, excellent stakeholder management capabilities, and the ability to operate effectively in a global environment with significant interaction with US-based stakeholders.\nKey Responsibilities\nLead end-to-end procurement activities across Operations, Facilities, HR, Sales & Marketing categories.\nDevelop and execute category strategies aligned with business requirements and procurement objectives.\nLead strategic sourcing, RFP/RFQ processes, supplier evaluation, negotiations and contracting.\nIdentify and deliver cost savings, cost avoidance, and value creation opportunities.\nBuild and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders and strategic suppliers.\nPartner with global business teams to understand requirements and develop appropriate procurement solutions.\nManage supplier performance, commercial governance, and ongoing vendor relationships.\nEnsure compliance with procurement policies, processes, and approval requirements.\nDrive continuous improvement and standardization of procurement processes.\nProvide procurement insights, market intelligence, and recommendations to senior stakeholders.\nPrepare and present procurement strategies, business cases, sourcing recommendations and performance updates to leadership.\nCollaborate with Legal, Finance, AP, HR, IT and other cross-functional teams to ensure smooth execution of procurement initiatives.\nCandidate Profile\nEssential Qualifications & Experience\n12-14 years of relevant procurement experience, preferably within a large/global organization.\nStrong understanding of procurement operations, processes, and governance.\nDemonstrated experience in strategic sourcing, category management, negotiations, and supplier management.\nExperience managing multiple indirect procurement categories, with exposure to Operations, Facilities, HR, Sales & Marketing preferred.\nStrong commercial acumen with the ability to evaluate cost structures, contracts, and supplier proposals.\nExcellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.\nAbility to independently lead discussions and influence senior stakeholders.\nExperience working with global stakeholders, preferably across the US, Europe and/or other international markets.\nStrong analytical and problem-solving skills.\nAbility to operate effectively in a matrixed and fast-paced global organization.\nFlexibility to align working hours with US/global stakeholders and business requirements as needed.\nPreferred Attributes\nExperience in a multinational / global procurement organization.\nExperience managing significant procurement spend and complex supplier relationships.\nExperience with procurement technology, e-sourcing, CLM, P2P/S2P or ERP platforms.\nStrong project management and change-management capabilities.\nAbility to work independently while also collaborating effectively with cross-functional and global teams.\nStrong ability to build relationships and influence stakeholders across different geographies and functions.\nWhat Success Looks Like\nThe successful candidate will
