Our team of 11,000+ colleagues from around the globe are vital to our success and the reason we’re able to push boundaries in pursuit of better human health.\nFind your future at Revvity\nThis position will serve as a multifaceted Field Application Scientist to facilitate seamless implementation of EUROIMMUN instruments and products in customers’ laboratories, with a focus on laboratory software and network interfacing. Excellent technical and communication skills are needed to positively interact with customers and company personnel in English and French. Successful candidates will be initiative-takers who can independently manage their time and schedules, and who possess essential business, hands-on, and computer acumen.\nPosition Responsibilities include but are not limited to:\nMaintain a working knowledge of EUROIMMUN instrumentation, products, and techniques, staying current with system changes and updates.\nCoordinate pre-delivery inspections, hardware installation, initial configurations, and system validations\n(IQ, OQ, PQ), training, and any applicable troubleshooting (hardware, perform part replacements, and provide on-site repairs, application or software) with business team and customers.\nPreventive Maintenance: Conduct routine preventive maintenance to ensure instruments meet performance standards.\nAssist field service engineers with instrument installations and on-site troubleshooting.\nAide the logistics department to arrange shipping of instrument, kits, and samples.\nAssist customers with validation studies including protocol definition, sample acquisition, sample testing, and data evaluation.\nEnsure automation programming is completed to customer needs and national requirements.\nCommunicate with EUROIMMUN AG for additional 2nd-level support, complaints handling, etc.\nLiaise with customer’s IT, networking and security teams. Aide in laboratory information system (LIS) interfacing and edit scripts used for LIS communication as required.\nAssist in conducting educational sessions on equipment and products internally and to customers.\nProvide application support and expertise to all company departments.\nFollow documentation procedures for all project and service tasks: network maps, on-site work orders, service reports, training confirmations, customer workflows, scripting guidelines, etc.\nAdhere to all company policies, procedures, and guidelines. Comply with all safety, privacy, and regulatory requirements.\nAssist business team with Request for Purchase paperwork and perform presale consultations on planned instrumentation and systems. Coordinate all necessary instrument registration.\nOvernight travel as needed (40-50%).\nInstallation & Commissioning: Perform hardware installations, initial configurations, and system validations.\nTechnical Troubleshooting & Repairs: Diagnose and resolve hardware and software issues, perform part replacements, and provide on-site repairs.\nBasic Qualifications:\nBachelors’ degree or a Medical Laboratory Sciences advanced diploma.\n1-2+ years of laboratory experience.\nBilingual in French.\nPreferred Qualifications:\nExperience with client/server network infrastructure and basic object-oriented programming.3 or more years’ experience as a field service representative, MLT, or related field preferred.\nExperience with bidirectional TCP/IP and file-based communication preferred.\nExperience with C# coding and script writing standard practices preferred.\nStrong computer literacy skills, adept at learning new software interfaces, proficient in MS Office.\nWell-organized, able to function independently with minimal supervision.\nExcellent time management during concurrent projects.\nComfortable presenting training and information seminars to groups.\nStrong professional verbal/written communication and interpersonal skills.\nPossesses exemplar critical thinking abilities.\nEnthusiastic demeanor and a can-do attitude.\nPlease include a valid LinkedIn profile and added work links, to your resume.\nFraud Prevention Notice: We are committed to a fair and transparent hiring process. This range reflects the minimum and maximum target for a new hire in this position. The base pay actually offered to the successful candidate will take into account internal equity, work location, and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.\nThis range allows for the successful candidate to have an opportunity to progress within the position and develop at our company.
