These individuals will be part of a dynamic group of engineers responsible for documenting, deploying, validating, and supporting newborn screening software applications in North American laboratories.\nOur team provides software tools that manage our customers’ laboratory workflow and help enable the early detection of certain life-threatening genetic and metabolic disorders in newborn babies. In this position you will learn how to use, configure, and support our software, work with customers to determine and document their requirements, and support their processes. In addition, you will gain an understanding of the science behind genetic screening.\nPosition Details\nThe Software Integration Co-Op position relies on the following tools: Microsoft SQL Server and Visual Basic. It is not a “development” or “programmer” position, so if you don’t have training and/or experience in any of these technologies that’s ok. We’ll work with you on an appropriate training plan - whether your strengths lie with some of the tools we use or you have a strong science background with an interest in computers, we’ll find the best fit for you. This range reflects the minimum and maximum target for a new hire in this position.
