Our college interns work on meaningful projects, are mentored under their respective managers, and continue to develop throughout the entire summer. Through the internship program, our interns can attend development workshops that are focused on key business concepts. Interns may work within the skills-based tracks of Business Administration, Information Technology, Actuarial, Human Resources, Analytics & Data, Communications, Finance, Marketing & Sales, Project Management, Clinical Studies, Customer Experience, Digital Operations, and other non-technical and/or technical based degree programs.\nThis is a paid 10-week summer internship from the first Monday in June to the second Friday in August (up to 40 hours per week).\nInterns may reside in either a technical or non-technical area.\nDevelopment workshops are provided to help with the transition from school to the corporate environment.\nHousing is not provided as part of our program.\nEssential Accountabilities:\nSpecific duties will vary by assignment; specific divisional callouts are listed below.\nAnticipated projects within areas of HR Compliance, AI Compliance, HR Process Improvement.\nWorks with a mentor and supports key strategic projects.\nCompletes work assignments based on business needs, departmental priorities, and individual qualifications.\nPerforms a mix of technical and/or non-technical tasks that will cover a broad range of business-related projects.\nCreates and delivers presentations at completion of internship.\nConsistently demonstrates high standards of integrity by supporting the Lifetime Healthcare Companies' mission and values, adhering to the Corporate Code of Conduct, and leading to the Lifetime Way values and beliefs.\nMaintain confidentiality and protection of member privacy in accordance with the company policies.\nRegular and reliable attendance is expected and required.\nPerforms other functions as assigned by management.\nMinimum Qualifications:\nDesired Majors/Degree Programs Include: Human Resources, Compliance, Business & Management (i.e. Finance, Actuarial, Accounting, Management, Marketing, Supply Chain Management, etc.); Social Sciences (i.e. Psychology, Sociology, Human Services, Law/Pre-Law, etc.) or similar program(s)\nPreferred (but not required) experience with: System, Systems thinking, Human centered technology related projects, research.\nHigh School diploma along with proof of continuous college enrollment (enrolled in a full-time undergraduate or graduate degree program).\nMust be in good academic standing.\nExcellent written and verbal communication skills, with ability to interact with technical and non-technical audiences and interface with staff at all levels of the company.\nAbility to multitask in a fast-paced environment while maintaining strong attention to detail changing environment and deliver high-quality work product.\nAbility to work well in a team establishing good working relationships with peers.\nDemonstrates strong organizational, analytical, problem-solving and prioritization skills.\nProactive approach to work, displaying creativity and flexibility in completing assigned tasks.\nCommitment to continuous improvement of skills and team functioning.\nSelf-motivated and able to work independently, as well as on intra- and inter- departmental teams as needed.\nExperience with Microsoft Office Suite.\nExperience using a desktop computer in a professional environment.\nPhysical Requirements:\nAbility to work while sitting and/or standing at a workstation viewing a computer and using a keyboard, mouse and/or phone for three (3) or more hours at a time.\nAbility to travel across the Health Plan service region for meetings and/or training courses as needed.\n************\nIn support of the Americans with Disabilities Act, this job description lists only those responsibilities and qualifications deemed essential to the position.\nEqual Opportunity Employer\nCompensation Range(s):\nLevel I - Minimum $18.00 - Maximum $20.00\nThe salary range indicated in this posting represents the minimum and maximum of the salary range for this position.
