Incumbents are expected to understand user stories, identify appropriate designs, code to the design specifications, and complete appropriate unit testing to ensure a quality solution delivery. Working with stakeholders across a broad array of IT and business teams through all phases of a project, including requirements-definition, design and build, delivery, and user acceptance testing, the Developer leverages industry expertise to consult on and influence project direction, as a tireless advocate for best practices. The incumbent demonstrates commitment to project success by ensuring that the delivered product is fully-functioning, performs to business requirements defined and approved by the team, and meets or exceeds stakeholder expectations.\nEssential Accountabilities\nLevel I\nResponsible for small user stories encompassing limited feature development and service requests - with impacts largely limited to a single application or system.\nDevelops code; analyzes, researches, and resolves system issues.\nArticulates obstacles.\nCreates and maintains application documentation.\nParticipates in design reviews and code reviews.\nMaintains level of urgency towards timelines and results.\nParticipates in on-call rotation.\nSupports and follows all documented IT processes and standards.\nAttends daily standups.\nCommunicates and works with team members/Business to understand requirements and identify application impacts.\nCreates individual work plans, specifications and programs with guidance utilizing development procedures and standards.\nConsistently demonstrates high standards of integrity by supporting the Lifetime Healthcare Companies’ mission and values, adhering to the Corporate Code of Conduct, and leading to the Lifetime Way values and beliefs.\nMaintains high regard for member privacy in accordance with the corporate privacy policies and procedures.\nRegular and reliable attendance is expected and required.\nPerforms other functions as assigned by management.\nLevel II - in addition to Level I accountabilities:\nResponsible for small-to-medium user stories encompassing feature development and service requests - with some impacts to more than one application or system.\nParticipates in strategic discussion and decision-making when called upon to do so.\nProvides limited mentorship to Associate Developers.\nProvides input to creation of Organizational Standards.\nLevel III - in addition to Level II accountabilities:\nResponsible for medium-to-complex user stories encompassing complex feature development and service requests - with broad impacts to more than one application or system.\nIdentifies process and technical deficiencies and offers solutions to resolve.\nProvides mentorship to Associate and Mid-Level Developers; provides limited mentorship to other Senior Developers \nIdentifies best practices and participates in creation of Organizational Standards.\nLevel IV - in addition to Level III accountabilities\nResponsible for complex user stories encompassing complex feature development with broad impacts to a portfolio of applications and/or systems.\nAssists with software and system design and architecture within the assigned portfolio.\nDevelops strategies to mitigate risk and translates those strategies into specific action plans.\nProvides mentorship to all technical staff at all levels.\nIdentifies best practices and drives creation of Organizational Standards.\nMinimum Qualifications:\nNOTE: We include multiple levels of classification differentiated by demonstrated knowledge, skills, and the ability to manage increasingly independent and/or complex assignments, broader responsibility, additional decision making, and in some cases, becoming a resource to others. In addition to using this differentiated approach to place new hires, it also provides guideposts for employee development and promotional opportunities.\nLevel I\nOne (1) year of Salesforce development experience.\nBachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or relevant field. In lieu of a degree, six (6) years of experience required. \nHands-on technical experience on Salesforce development or configuration in Apex, Visualforce, Lightning Web components, flows and declarative tools\nProficiency in Salesforce platform development including Apex classes/triggers, LWCs, APIs.\nFamiliarity with Salesforce configuration (objects, fields, page layouts, record types, permissions)\nKnowledge of SOQL/SOSL and data model design\nDemonstrated ability to effectively communicate and partner with team members and direct leadership to understand user stories and identify application and system impacts.\nDemonstrated strong problem-solving skills.\nKnowledge and familiarity with Agile development methodologies.\nKnowledge and familiarity with testing techniques (e.g. unit and system).\nLevel II - in addition to Level I minimum qualifications:\nTwo (2) years of Salesforce development experience.\nDemonstrated ability to apply Salesforce principles of application design and development \nDemonstrated ability to effectively communicate and partner with team members, direct leadership, and some business partners to understand user stories and identify application and system impacts.\nDemonstrated ability to create and execute appropriate test cases.\nDemonstrated ability to automate decision-making throughout an application to improve process efficiency.\nSalesforce certification.\nLevel III - in addition to Level II minimum qualifications:\nFour (4) years of Salesforce development experience.\nDemonstrated ability to effectively communicate and partner with team members, all levels of IT leadership, and all levels of business stakeholder to understand user stories and identify enterprise-wide application and system impacts.\nDemonstrated intermediate ability to manage integrations.\nDemonstrated experience leveraging and promoting reusable components.\nAdvanced Salesforce certifications\nLevel IV - in addition to Level III minimum qualifications:\nEight (8) years of Salesforce development experience.\nSubject matter expertise in two or more technologies leveraged by the organization.\nDemonstrated experience setting up Salesforce platform from the ground up.\nDemonstrated ability to understand and apply AI use cases within Salesforce applications to meet business needs.\nDemonstrated ability to optimize usability, security, and performance in Salesforce applications.\nDemonstrated ability to act as a strategic advisor on topics such as the development of release pipelines, the assessment and measurement of quality, the practice of load testing, and the estimation of cloud resources needed for applications.\nMultiple Salesforce certifications.\nPhysical Requirements\nAbility to work prolonged periods sitting and/or standing at a workstation and working on a computer.\nAbility to work while sitting and/or standing at a workstation viewing a computer and using a keyboard, mouse and/or phone for three (3) or more hours at a time.\nAbility to travel across the Health Plan service region for meetings and/or trainings as needed.\nAbility to work in a home office for continuous periods of time for business continuity.\n***********\nIn support of the Americans with Disabilities Act, this job description lists only those responsibilities and qualifications deemed essential to the position.\nEqual Opportunity Employer\n Compensation Range(s):\nLevel I - 60,410 - 106,929\nLevel II - 79,068 - 142,322\nLevel III - 87,766 - 157,978\nLevel IV -110,093 -198,168\nThe salary range indicated in this posting represents the minimum and maximum of the salary range for this position.
