currently a management or team leadership position, the ideal candidate will demonstrate the maturity, initiative and leadership potential to grow into a future HR leadership role as the organisation expands.\nRequirements\nKey Responsibilities\nHR Operations and Employee Relations\nManage and support day-to-day HR operations across the organisation.\nProvide practical HR guidance and support to employees and management on HR-related matters.\nSupport employee relations processes, including addressing workplace concerns and handling sensitive matters professionally.\nMaintain accurate employee records, employment contracts, personnel files and HR documentation.\nSupport employee onboarding, offboarding and other key employee lifecycle processes.\nMaintain strict confidentiality and exercise sound professional judgement when handling employee information.\nHR Compliance, Policies and Procedures\nEnsure HR practices and procedures align with applicable employment legislation and relevant compliance requirements.\nMonitor HR compliance requirements and proactively identify potential risks or gaps.\nSupport the development, implementation, review and continuous improvement of HR policies and procedures.\nEnsure HR processes are consistently applied across departments.\nMaintain accurate compliance documentation and support internal reviews or audits where required.\nRecommend practical improvements to strengthen HR governance and reduce operational risk.\nHRIS Management and Reporting\nManage employee information and HR records within the organisation's HR Information System (HRIS).\nEnsure HRIS data remains accurate, complete, up to date and appropriately maintained.\nGenerate, analyse and present HR reports to support management decision-making.\nIdentify trends and patterns in HR data, translating findings into practical recommendations.\nDevelop and maintain HR reporting tools, dashboards and tracking mechanisms where required.\nIdentify opportunities to improve HR processes through better system utilisation, automation and reporting practices.\nEmployee Wellness and Engagement\nSupport the planning and implementation of employee wellness and engagement initiatives.\nAssist with initiatives that promote employee satisfaction, wellbeing and a positive workplace culture.\nEngage regularly with employees to understand concerns, identify challenges and support appropriate resolutions.\nWork with management to identify opportunities to improve the employee experience and strengthen retention.\nContinuous Improvement and Stakeholder Support\nIdentify inefficiencies in existing HR processes and recommend practical, sustainable solutions.\nSupport the implementation of improved HR systems, processes and reporting frameworks.\nManage multiple priorities independently while maintaining accuracy and meeting deadlines.\nCollaborate with management and relevant departments to ensure effective HR support across the organisation.\nTake ownership of responsibilities and follow through on agreed actions without requiring constant supervision.\nMinimum Requirements\nA minimum of 5 years of solid, hands-on HR experience, ideally in an HR Generalist or HR Specialist role.\nA relevant qualification in Human Resources, Industrial Psychology, Business Administration or a related field.\nStrong practical experience working with HRIS platforms, including employee data management, reporting and system administration.\nA good understanding of HR compliance, employee relations, employment documentation, policies and procedures.\nDemonstrated experience preparing, interpreting and presenting HR reports.\nStrong analytical skills, with the ability to identify trends and translate HR data into actionable recommendations.\nAdvanced Microsoft Excel skills and confidence working with HR reporting tools.\nExperience supporting employee wellness and engagement initiatives.\nExcellent written and verbal communication skills.\nStrong organisational skills and attention to detail.\nThe ability to manage confidential information with discretion and professionalism.\nThe ability to work independently, prioritise competing demands and take ownership in a fast-paced environment.\nPreferred Experience\nThe following will be advantageous:\nPrevious experience in healthcare, ABA therapy or another fast-paced service-based organisation.\nExperience supporting US-based organisations and familiarity with US employment practices.\nExperience implementing, configuring or improving HRIS platforms and HR processes.\nExposure to payroll administration or payroll systems.\nExperience developing HR dashboards, reporting frameworks or process automation.\nPrevious experience mentoring or guiding junior team members.\nExperience supporting organisational growth and improving HR processes in a scaling business.\nThe Ideal Candidate\nWe are Comfortable working in a demanding, fast-moving environment where priorities may change.\nIndependent and accountable: Takes ownership of responsibilities, exercises sound judgement and follows
