Apply today!\nAbout the role\nThe CDL Driver II is responsible for the safe transportation of hazardous and non-hazardous waste materials between customer locations and Reworld facilities. Drivers will operate a variety of Class A equipment, including tanker trailers, van body trucks, and roll-off equipment, while ensuring compliance with all DOT, federal, state, and company safety regulations.\nPrimary Responsibilities\nSafely operate Class A commercial vehicles to transport hazardous and non-hazardous waste materials.\nOperate tanker trailers, van body trucks, and roll-off equipment in accordance with company policies and safety standards.\nLoad, transport, and unload materials while maintaining compliance with DOT and customer requirements.\nConduct thorough pre-trip, post-trip, and en route vehicle inspections.\nMaintain assigned schedules and delivery commitments while prioritizing safety.\nSecure loads and verify materials are transported safely and efficiently.\nFollow all company, local, state, and federal regulations governing commercial vehicle operations.\nAdditional Responsibilities\nComplete and maintain all required transportation documentation, including manifests, bills of lading, logs, inspection reports, delivery receipts, and incident reports.\nEnsure proper placarding and regulatory compliance for hazardous and non-hazardous materials.\nCommunicate effectively with dispatch, customers, and operations personnel regarding route status, delays, and service requirements.\nFollow written and verbal routing instructions and customer-specific procedures.\nMaintain a professional appearance and represent the company positively at customer sites.\nPromote a strong safety culture and immediately report safety concerns or incidents.\nPerform other duties as assigned.\nRequired Qualifications\nMust be at least 21 years of age.\nValid CDL Class A license required.\nTanker endorsement required.\nMinimum of 3 years of commercial Class A driving experience.\nAcceptable motor vehicle record.\nAbility to meet all DOT physical, drug screening, and background check requirements.\nAbility to work regional routes or home daily schedules as assigned.\nPreferred Qualifications\nHazmat endorsement preferred.\nExperience operating tanker trailers, van body trucks, and/or roll-off equipment.\nExperience transporting hazardous and non-hazardous waste materials.\nHigh School Diploma or GED.\nPhysical Demands\nAbility to sit, stand, walk, bend, climb, and enter/exit commercial vehicles throughout the workday.\nAbility to lift, push, pull, and carry up to 50 pounds.\nAbility to work outdoors in varying weather and environmental conditions.\nAbility to work at heights and in confined spaces when required.\nVisual acuity and hearing sufficient to safely operate commercial vehicles and equipment.\nBenefits\nMedical, dental, and vision coverage\nHealth savings and flexible spending account options\nRetirement savings plan\nPaid time off and company holidays\nEmployee assistance programs\nCompany-provided safety training and development opportunities\nAll Reworld positions require a candidate's ability to perform the duties and responsibilities of the role while upholding Reworld's Values, including (but not limited to) contributing to a safe and inclusive workplace, delivering results through trust, and building breakthrough capabilities.\nPlease note that Level, Title and/or Salary may be adjusted based on the applicant's experience or skills.\nPay Transparency\nReworld is committed to paying its staff equitably, and we strive to provide competitive compensation and benefits packages. The range below reflects Reworld’s reasonable estimate of base pay for this role based on primary posting location. It is expected that most qualified candidates in this location will fall within the posting range. The final salary offered for this role will be determined based on factors including, but not limited to: experience, education, geographic location, skills and competencies, travel requirements and/or union contracts (if applicable).
