Apply today!\nAbout the role\nThe CDL Class A Driver II is responsible for safely transporting hazardous and non-hazardous materials between Reworld facilities and customer locations. This position operates a variety of manual transmission equipment, including tankers, roll-off trucks, and box-style straight-body trucks. Drivers play a critical role in supporting environmental services operations while maintaining compliance with DOT regulations, company policies, and safety standards.\nPrimary Responsibilities\nSafely operate commercial vehicles in compliance with DOT regulations and company safety requirements.\nTransport hazardous and non-hazardous materials between customer sites and company facilities.\nOperate tankers, roll-off trucks, and box-style straight-body trucks.\nPerform pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles and equipment.\nUtilize electronic logging devices and company-issued technology to manage daily work activities.\nFollow assigned routes and schedules while maintaining a high level of customer service.\nAdditional Responsibilities\nComplete required transportation documentation, including manifests, bills of lading, delivery receipts, inspection reports, and logs.\nEnsure proper placarding and compliance with hazardous material transportation regulations.\nAssist with loading and unloading activities as required.\nMove and handle drums and other containers when necessary.\nOperate material handling equipment, including electric pallet jacks.\nCommunicate effectively with dispatch, customers, and operations personnel regarding deliveries, schedules, and service needs.\nMaintain a strong commitment to safety for employees, customers, and the public.\nPerform additional duties as assigned.\nRequired Qualifications\nMust be at least 21 years of age.\nValid CDL Class A license required.\nTanker endorsement required.\nMinimum 2 to 3 years of commercial driving experience.\nPrevious experience in environmental services, waste, wastewater, chemical hauling, or a related industry strongly preferred.\nExperience using electronic logging devices.\nAbility to operate manual transmission vehicles.\nAcceptable driving record and ability to meet DOT requirements.\nSchedule and Route Information\nTypical start times between 5:00 AM and 6:00 AM, depending on route assignments.\nHome most days with occasional overnight travel.\nTypical overnight travel may consist of 1 to 2 nights per week.\nPrimary operating area includes Kentucky and regional routes throughout the surrounding territory.\nEquipment\nManual transmission fleet.\nTankers, roll-off trucks, and box-style straight-body trucks.\nCompany-issued tablet and electronic logging system.\nPhysical Requirements\nAbility to lift, carry, push, and pull up to 50 pounds.\nAbility to move drums and containers as needed.\nAbility to operate material handling equipment.\nAbility to sit, stand, walk, climb, bend, and reach throughout the workday.\nAbility to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.\nAbility to safely perform duties in industrial and environmental services settings.\nBenefits\nMedical, dental, and vision coverage\nHealth savings and flexible spending account options\nRetirement savings plan\nPaid time off and company holidays\nEmployee assistance programs\nCompany-provided safety training and development opportunities\nAll Reworld positions require a candidate's ability to perform the duties and responsibilities of the role while upholding Reworld's Values, including (but not limited to) contributing to a safe and inclusive workplace, delivering results through trust, and building breakthrough capabilities.\nPlease note that Level, Title and/or Salary may be adjusted based on the applicant's experience or skills.\nPay Transparency\nReworld is committed to paying its staff equitably, and we strive to provide competitive compensation and benefits packages.
