Apply today!\nAbout the role\nReworld is seeking a CDL Class A Driver to transport oil, gas, water, drums, and other environmental materials throughout New York State and surrounding areas. This position is responsible for operating a variety of equipment including tanker trailers, vacuum trailers, vacuum trucks, box trucks while maintaining compliance with DOT regulations and company safety standards. Drivers are typically home daily, with occasional overnight travel required based on business needs.\nPrimary Responsibilities\nSafely operate Class A commercial vehicles to transport oil, gas, water, drums, and other environmental materials.\nOperate tanker trailers, vacuum trailers, vacuum trucks, box trucks, and day cab tractors.\nLoad, unload, and transfer materials utilizing specialized tanker and vacuum equipment.\nConduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles, trailers, and equipment.\nEnsure all loads are properly secured and transported in accordance with DOT regulations and company policies.\nComplete required transportation documentation including bills of lading, manifests, inspection reports, delivery receipts, and regulatory paperwork.\nMaintain clear communication with dispatch, customers, and facility personnel regarding route status and delivery schedules.\nFollow assigned routes while adhering to all safety, environmental, and operational procedures.\nMaintain a professional representation of the company when interacting with customers and the public.\nPerform additional duties as assigned.\nSchedule & Route Information\nHome daily position.\nTypical start times between 4:00 AM and 6:00 AM.\nRoutes primarily throughout New York State.\nOccasional travel into Pennsylvania and Ohio.\nOccasional overnight travel throughout the year with hotel accommodations provided.\nRequired Qualifications\nValid CDL Class A License.\nMinimum of 2 years of CDL driving experience.\nHazMat Endorsement required.\nTanker Endorsement required.\nMust be at least 21 years of age.\nAcceptable driving record.\nAbility to safely operate automatic transmission commercial vehicles.\nAbility to read maps and follow written and verbal directions.\nStrong commitment to safety and regulatory compliance.\nPreferred Qualifications\nExperience operating tanker trailers, vacuum trailers, vacuum trucks, and box trucks.\nPrevious experience hauling liquid products and environmental materials.\nExperience working in industrial, environmental, waste, remediation, energy, or related industries.\nAbility to operate manual transmission commercial vehicles preferred.
