Apply today!\nAbout the role\nThe CDL Driver will perform duties associated with the moving of waste trailers at the municipal solid waste transfer stations in Paterson, NJ.\nPrimary Responsibilities\nOperate yard tractors on-site to move waste trailers to be loaded with Municipal Solid Waste (MSW)\nPerform pre/post trip inspections of vehicle and equipment\nClear debris from top of the waste trailer and roll the tarp over the trailer\nAdditional Responsibilities\nMaintain clear communication with equipment operators, site supervisor, scale attendant and additional site staff using 2-way radios\nResponsible for safety of fellow employees, clients and the public while operating company vehicles and/or performing any company activity\nAssist in litter removal from the yard\nComplete additional assigned duties\nRequired Qualifications\nCDL Class A license required \nMust be 21 years or older, due to interstate travel in a commercial vehicle and federal regulations \nAcceptable driving record\nPreferred Qualifications\nHigh School Diploma / GED preferred. \n2+ years of commercial driving experience, including yard tractor experience preferred. \nPhysical Demands of the Role\nAbility to walk, stand, sit, and climb for long periods of time\nAbility to grab, grip, reach, push, pull, lift/carry 50lbs\nAbility to work from heights and in confined spaces \nConsistently work in various weather conditions\nVisual activity and hearing\nAll Reworld positions require a candidate's ability to perform the duties and responsibilities of the role while upholding Reworld's Values, including (but not limited to) contributing to a safe and inclusive workplace, delivering results through trust, and building breakthrough capabilities.\nPlease note that Level, Title and/or Salary may be adjusted based on the applicant's experience or skills.\nPay Transparency\nThis role is covered under a Labor Union / Collective Bargaining Agreement (CBA).
