Apply today!\nAbout the role\nThe CDL Driver II will perform duties associated with transporting hazardous and non-hazardous waste between Reworld facilities and the client’s sites. Drivers will have the opportunity to operate a variety of manual and automatic transmission equipment including vacuum tankers, vacuum trucks, vans, and flatbeds.\nSign on Bonus Eligible: $5,000\nPrimary Responsibilities\nDrive commercial vehicles to safely transport goods/materials over long distances according to established safety procedures and DOT regulations while meeting scheduled appointments\n\nDrive trucks and operate specialized pump equipment on vehicles to load, unload, or disperse cargo or materials\n\nPerform pre/post trip inspections of vehicle and equipment\n\nAdditional Responsibilities\nAdministrative tasks and paperwork as it relates to transportation of hazardous/non-hazardous materials and vehicle/equipment maintenance (i.e., manifests, bills of lading, medical waste tracking, logs, delivery receipts, vehicle inspections, incident reports, etc.)\n\nEnsure the placarding of the vehicle meets DOT regulations\n\nMaintain clear communication with dispatchers, customers, and other drivers regarding instructions, delivery status and any potential delays, etc.\n\nResponsible for safety of fellow employees, clients and the public while operating company vehicles and/or performing any company activity\n\nInterpret maps and follow written and verbal geographic directions\n\nComplete additional assigned duties\n\nPosition Requirements\nMust be 21 years or older, due to interstate travel in a commercial vehicle and federal regulations.\n\nMust have valid driver’s license and Class A CDL license\n\nHazmat Endorsement\n\nTanker Endorsement\n\nMinimum 3 years of commercial Class A driving experience, including tanker experience.\n\nAcceptable driving record.\n\nHigh School Diploma / GED preferred.\n\nPhysical Demands of the Role\nAbility to walk, stand, sit, and climb for long periods of time\n\nAbility to grab, grip, reach, push, pull, lift/carry 50lbs\n\nAbility to work from heights and in confined spaces\n\nConsistently work in various weather conditions\n\nVisual activity and hearing\n\nBenefits\nMedical, dental, and vision coverage\n\nHealth savings and flexible spending account options\n\nRetirement savings plan\n\nPaid time off and company holidays\n\nEmployee assistance programs\n\nCompany-provided safety training and development opportunities\n\nIn addition to salary, this role is eligible for benefits.
