Apply today!\nAbout the role\nThe CDL Driver II is responsible for transporting both hazardous and non-hazardous waste between company facilities and customer sites. This position primarily involves operating manual transmission vehicles, including roll off trucks as the main equipment, along with van trailers and box trucks. This is a local, home daily driving role.\nResponsibilities\nSafely operate commercial vehicles in compliance with DOT regulations and company safety standards while meeting scheduled delivery and pickup times\nLoad, transport, and unload materials using specialized equipment including vacuum systems and pumping units\nPerform pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles and equipment to ensure safe operating conditions\nComplete required documentation such as manifests, bills of lading, logs, inspection reports, and delivery receipts\nEnsure proper placarding and labeling of vehicles in accordance with DOT requirements\nMaintain clear communication with dispatch, customers, and internal teams regarding delivery status, instructions, and delays\nFollow established routes and directions while adapting to changing conditions as needed\nMaintain a strong focus on safety for employees, customers, and the general public\nPerform additional duties as assigned\nQualifications\nMust be 21 years of age or older\nValid CDL Class A\nCDL Class B may be considered only for candidates with heavy, verifiable roll off experience, as roll off operation is the primary duty.\nTanker endorsement required\nMinimum of 3 years of commercial driving experience, including tanker experience\nAcceptable driving record\nAbility to work regional routes or home daily schedules\nPreferred Qualifications\nHigh School Diploma or GED\nHazmat endorsement\nPhysical Demands\nAbility to sit, stand, walk, and climb for extended periods\nAbility to lift and carry up to 50 lbs\nAbility to push, pull, reach, and grip as required for equipment operation\nAbility to work at heights and in confined spaces\nAbility to work in varying weather conditions\nRequired visual and hearing capabilities to safely operate equipment\nBenefits\nCompetitive pay\nMedical, dental, and vision coverage\n401k with company match\nPaid time off and holidays\nOngoing training and development opportunities\nAll Reworld positions require a candidate's ability to perform the duties and responsibilities of the role while upholding Reworld's Values, including (but not limited to) contributing to a safe and inclusive workplace, delivering results through trust, and building breakthrough capabilities.\nPlease note that Level, Title and/or Salary may be adjusted based on the applicant's experience or skills.\nPay Transparency\nReworld is committed to paying its staff equitably, and we strive to provide competitive compensation and benefits packages.
