Apply today!\nAbout the role\nThe Waste Processing Technician I (WPTI) is an entry level position responsible to safely perform the following fundamental tasks which may include the following: off-loading inbound trucks, verify container count, manifest number and other relevant data needed for waste processing. Container sampling, recognizing non-conforming material, and processing of material through shredding operations, direct loading into pit. The WPT I is expected to have a general mechanical understanding of waste processing equipment. Specifically, via forklift, forklift attachments, hose, and valve operation. This position will handle various types of waste during their daily routine and is expected to be safety conscious and understand the correct PPE to utilize during their tasks.\nResponsibilities:\nOperate heavy equipment such as fork trucks, balers, compactors, etc. \nProcess waste materials into like commodities or in accordance with vendor specifications \nGeneral housekeeping.
