Apply today!\nAbout the role\nThe Facility Manager (MPF) is responsible for leading a team of material processing professionals to ensure safety and environmental standards compliance while optimizing the facility's operational efficiency, reliability, and financial performance. Additionally, the Facility Manager will work closely with the sales team to facilitate and broker the materials produced from the Material Processing Facility (MPF), ensuring alignment with business objectives and revenue goals.\nEssential Duties and Responsibilities:\nLeads, manages, and directs all personnel and activities associated with safely operating the facility according to all applicable laws and approved policies and procedures.\nPromotes and supports a positive EH&S culture while ensuring all facility personnel comply with Reworld EH&S policies and applicable laws, regulations, and permits.\nPromotes open communication at all levels, encouraging facility personnel to contribute ideas, solutions, and issues freely. Actively listens to and acts based on employee communication.\nMaintains a positive working relationship with all customers, regulators, business leaders, managers, facility personnel, contractors, and vendors.\nWorks with facility personnel to develop goals and objectives on a routine basis and monitors progress toward the goals and objectives to assist in achieving personal, professional, and team success.\nPrepares performance reviews routinely to assist employees in achieving their and the team's goals.\nReviews and promptly approves personnel requests for personal time off and follows approved policies and procedures.\nReviews and approves personnel timesheets and overtime requests following approved policies and procedures.\nPrepares a training and qualification plan for all facility personnel and routinely monitors progress.\nDevelops and administers a site Communications Plan detailing recurring meetings and events necessary to support open and frequent communication at all business levels.\nDelegates development and preparation of facility standard operating procedures (SOP) sufficient to safely and efficiently operate and maintain facility equipment in a format approved for use at the facility and following approved policies and procedures and the Reworld Quality Program.\nReviews, audits, and approves all documentation necessary to successfully lead the facility departments, including logbooks, round sheets, shift summaries, CMMS reports, schedules, checklists, vendor reports, etc., to ensure compliance with approved policies and procedures.\nOversees the development and implementation of a site maintenance program for all facility equipment, conducive to achieving the highest equipment reliability and lowest cost of operation possible.\nOversees developing and maintaining a site spare parts inventory and compliance with purchasing and auditing guidelines in coordination with Sourcing leaders.\nReview department invoices before payment to compare them to purchase orders, GL Account coding, and payment terms according to approved policies and procedures.\nManages all aspects of approved capital projects for the facility in the annual budget.\nMaximizes facility profitability and contributes to forecasting and analyzing financials, developing and monitoring budgets, and preparing explanations and reports of monthly, quarterly, and annual outcomes.\nCollaborates with the sales team to broker the sale of oil produced from the Material Processing Facility, ensuring seamless transactions, regulatory compliance, and alignment with company revenue objectives.\nIdentifies potential buyers and market opportunities for oil sales, negotiates contracts, and ensures efficient delivery and customer satisfaction.\nAny other duties as assigned by the Area Manager.\nThe above statements reflect the general details considered necessary to describe the job's essential functions. They are not to be construed as a detailed description of all the work requirements that may be inherent in the position.\nQualifications:\nA bachelor’s degree in a relevant field is a plus or ten (10) years of related experience and/or training or an equivalent combination of education and experience in the waste industry.\nDemonstrated leadership and communication skills.\nSound decision-making, problem-solving, and analytical thinking.\nPrevious experience brokering the sale of materials, water, and other goods is a plus.\nExceptional organizational and time management skills.\nThorough knowledge of OSHA, Waste Industry regulatory requirements, and EPA, state, and local regulations.\nThorough knowledge of waste, hazardous waste, and wastewater treatment processes and programs.\nWorking knowledge of professional accounting, financial, and tax concepts.\nProficient in the use of Microsoft Office Suite.\nAll Reworld positions require a candidate's ability to perform the duties and responsibilities of the role while upholding Reworld's Values, including (but not limited to) contributing to a safe and inclusive workplace, delivering results through trust, and building breakthrough capabilities.\nPlease note that Level, Title and/or Salary may be adjusted based on the applicant's experience or skills.\nPay Transparency\nReworld is committed to paying its staff equitably, and we strive to provide competitive compensation and benefits packages. The range below reflects Reworld’s reasonable estimate of base pay for this role based on primary posting location. It is expected that most qualified candidates in this location will fall within the posting range. The final salary offered for this role will be determined based on factors including, but not limited to: experience, education, geographic location, skills and competencies, travel requirements and/or union contracts (if applicable).
