Apply today!\nAbout the role\nReporting to the Regional Transportation Manager, the Logistics Manager is responsible for all localized activities of Bulk, Roll off and Non bulk Transportation. Reporting directly to our Transportation Manager, you will work very closely with the TMS team, Billing, Maintenance, and the Operations Manager. Accountable for the efficiency and professionalism of all drivers while maintaining all safety standards and complying with DOT regulations. Expected to provide strong leadership to drivers to maximize operational efficiency & profitability.\nDuties & Responsibilities:\nDevelop maintain, and promote an elite workplace quality, performance, appearance, and effectiveness.\n\nSet clear expectations, lead, coordinate, and manage all driver transportation functions.\n\nWork closely across other departments/facilities including Admin, Ops, Sales in order to satisfy customer requirements and create strong performance standards.\n\nCoordinate with maintenance department to ensure all equipment meets the DOT and CSA requirements.\n\nAnalyze driver & equipment utilization reports, fuel consumption, and other performance data to measure productivity and goal achievement while identify areas in which cost reductions and program improvements can be made.\n\nCoordinate with maintenance to ensure all preventative obligations are consistently met and equipment meets the DOT and CSA requirements, while maintaining customer service expectations.\n\nMonitor Samsara and provides constructive feedback to drivers as necessary.\n\nSuccessfully manage employee performance while mentoring and guiding the overall growth of the transportation fleet.\n\nManage drivers paperwork & prioritize loads/boxes to be delivered. Schedule deliveries to the TTF.\n\nPromote a positive safety culture and safe work activities by conducting safety audits, conducting monthly driver meetings, and meeting with individual staff members.\n\nAll other duties assigned.\n\nQualifications:\nHigh School Diploma, Bachelor's Degree preferred\n\nMust have a minimum of 5 years of transportation management experience\n\nMust have experience managing Drivers.\n\nKnowledge of hazardous, non-hazardous, and universal waste.\n\nUnderstanding of CSA scores and DOT requirements\n\nOutstanding written and verbal communication skills\n\nProficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, Power Point and Outlook\n\nAbility to analyze information and suggest improvements.\n\nDemonstrated attention to detail and time management skills.\n\nPhysical Demands:\nWhile performing the duties of this job, the employee may be regularly required to stand, sit, talk, hear, reach, stoop, kneel, and use hands and fingers to operate a computer, telephone, and keyboard\n\nWorks with frequent interruptions\n\nRegular attendance\n\nWhat We Offer You:\nHealth Care Benefits - start 1st day of employment\n\nWellness Program Incentives & Rewards\n\n401k - match up to 7%\n\nPaid Time Off (Vacation & Holiday)\n\nPaid Parental Leave\n\nShort-Term & Long-Term Disability Benefits\n\nTuition Reimbursement\n\nEmployee Referral Bonus\n\nIn addition to salary, this role is eligible for benefits.
