Apply today!\nAbout the role\nAs a Maintenance Mechanic, you will be responsible for the planned, unplanned, and preventative maintenance tasks required to ensure safe and efficient operational effectiveness of equipment and systems which enable Reworld’s industrial disposal process.\nThis position is 2nd Shift: 3:30 pm - 12:00 am\nPosition Responsibilities:\nEffectively complete preventive maintenance tasks per maintenance schedule to prevent breakdowns of equipment and operational downtime\nUtilize root-cause analysis skills to investigate breakdown and line stoppages collaborating with various teams and stakeholders\nPrioritize work to ensure timely maintenance, repair and installation of equipment, tools, and utility systems to minimize production downtime and complete all required paperwork and documentation in the company’s computerized maintenance documentation program\nUtilize Reworld’s defined maintenance documentation program to open and close out work orders, check out spare parts, and other activities as required in the plant.\nRepair and/or maintain the operating condition of industrial production or processing machinery or equipment including inspection, assembly, disassembly, and replacement as necessary\nObserve and evaluate the operation of machinery or equipment to diagnose malfunctions utilizing mechanical devices\nReview maintenance reports and statistics to plan and modify maintenance activities\nInspect operating machines and equipment for conformance with operational and safety performance standards.\nPosition Requirements & Qualifications:\nHigh School Diploma or equivalent, preferred\nA minimum of 2-4 years’ experience in a heavy industrial/manufacturing environment\nMust have the ability to work a rotating shift schedule\nTotal Rewards & Compensation:\nCompetitive Base Salary\nDay one employee benefits: competitive health insurance options, PTO, retirement savings plan and 401K match\nPhysical Demands of the Role:\nAbility to walk, stand, sit, and climb\nAbility to lift/carry 50lbs\nAbility to work from heights and in confined spaces\nQualify to wear a full-face respirator \nConsistently work in various weather conditions\nAll Reworld positions require a candidate's ability to perform the duties and responsibilities of the role while upholding Reworld's Values, including (but not limited to) contributing to a safe and inclusive workplace, delivering results through trust, and building breakthrough capabilities.\nPlease note that Level, Title and/or Salary may be adjusted based on the applicant's experience or skills.\nPay Transparency\nReworld is committed to paying its staff equitably, and we strive to provide competitive compensation and benefits packages.
