Apply today!\nAbout the role\nReworld is seeking a highly skilled Sr. Payroll Practitioner to process and maintain payroll for our U.S.-based locations.This role is responsible for ensuring accurate, timely, and compliant payroll processingwhile providing responsive, customer-focused support to employees and managers. \nWork Location: Florham Park, NJ\nWork Schedule: 3 days in office, 2 days in office\nPrimary Responsibilities\nU.S. Payroll\nProcess accurate and timely multi-state payroll for 800+ employees on weekly/biweekly cycles.\n\nEnsure compliance with U.S. federal, state, and local tax regulations, wage and hour requirements, and company policies.\n\nReview and validate timecards, payroll inputs, adjustments, and approvals prior to payroll deadlines.\n\nReview payroll reports and audit payroll results to identify discrepancies, unusual transactions, and potential errors before payroll is finalized.\n\nResearch, troubleshoot, and resolve payroll and time/attendance inquiries.\n\nCreate and maintain employee rotations, pay policy setups, and accrual tracking, where necessary.\n\nPartner with the Benefits team to ensure accuracy of leave and related pay.\n\nReview and approvenew hires, terminations, and staffing changes with appropriate documentationand approvals.\n\nAdminister withholding orders, ensuring proper processing and compliance with applicable requirements. Will act as liaison with agencies and bureaus.\n\nProcess off-cycle payments, reimbursements, and stop-payment requests as needed.\n\nMaintain accurate and confidential payroll records in accordance with company policies and Sarbanes-Oxley controls.\n\nSupport the Payroll Director with internal and external payroll audits by providing required documentation, reports, and research.\n\nProvide customer service support to employees across corporate and facility locations.\n\nCollaborate with Payroll and HR teams on ongoing projects and process improvements.\n\nQualifications & Requirements\nPayroll certification preferredbutnot required(FPCorCPP).\n\nMinimum 3-5years as a Payroll Practitioner with experiencein U.S. payroll.\n\nStrong knowledge of payroll and tax regulations/processes.\n\nExperience with administration of wage attachments/garnishmentsand the requirements of each type.\n\nExposure to union payrolls or collective bargaining agreements a plus.\n\nStrong analytical and organizational skillsto be able to multi-task.\n\nDetail-oriented with a high level of accuracy.\n\nExcellent communication and interpersonal skills with ability to support employees at all levels.\n\nExperience with Workday or similar HRIS/payroll systems.\n\nProficiency with Microsoft Excel and Word.\n\nExperience with UKG Dimensions or similar time and attendance systems preferred\n\nAll Reworld positions require a candidate's ability to perform the duties and responsibilities of the role while upholding Reworld's Values, including (but not limited to) contributing to a safe and inclusive workplace, delivering results through trust, and building breakthrough capabilities.\nPlease note that Level, Title and/or Salary may be adjusted based on the applicant's experience or skills.\nPay Transparency\nReworld is committed to paying its staff equitably, and we strive to provide competitive compensation and benefits packages. The final salary offered for this role will be determined based on factors including, but not limited to: experience, education, geographic location, skills and competencies, travel requirements and/or union contracts (if applicable).
