Apply today!\nAbout the role\nThe Waste Process Technician I is an entry level position responsible to safely perform the following fundamental tasks including but not limited to off-loading inbound trucks, verify container count, loading into solidification pit, processing of material through shredding operations, assign inventory numbers and other relevant data needed for waste processing. The Waste Processing Technician I is expected to have a general mechanical understanding of waste processing equipment.\n\nPosition Responsibilities\nUnderstand basic facility permit requirements and conduct daily activities to support all safety and compliance requirements. \nOperate a variety of equipment including but not limited to pressure washers, power tools, hand trucks, forklifts, and other power tools in accordance with company policies and procedures as well as OSHA requirements. \nAdministratively process inbound material / inventory using inventory tracking software and handheld scanners.\nAble to off load inbound packages, liquid trucks, and containers.\nDe-pack materials from original manufacturers packaging and sorting contents for disposal according to disposal plan. \nGeneral cleaning of facility and grounds.\nOther duties as assigned.\nRequired Qualifications\nMust be 18 years of age.\nPossess 8-hour DOT Certification Training (Or ability to complete).\nPossess 10-hour OSHA Training (Or ability to complete).\nPossess 8-hour HAZWOPER Training (Or ability to complete).\nMust exercise good judgement and problem-solving skills. \nDemonstrate attention to detail and time management. \nMust be computer proficient and able to operate with Microsoft Suite.\nExcellent written and verbal communication skills. \nPreferred Qualifications\nHigh School Diploma or equivalent.\nPhysical Demands of the Role\nAbility to walk, stand, sit, and climb for potentially extended periods of time.\nAbility to lift/carry 50lbs.\nAbility to work from heights and in confined spaces.\nAbility to operate forklifts and other power tools.\nQualify to wear a full-face respirator.\nConsistently work in various weather conditions.\nAll Reworld positions require a candidate's ability to perform the duties and responsibilities of the role while upholding Reworld's Values, including (but not limited to) contributing to a safe and inclusive workplace, delivering results through trust, and building breakthrough capabilities.\nPlease note that Level, Title and/or Salary may be adjusted based on the applicant's experience or skills.\nPay Transparency\nReworld is committed to paying its staff equitably, and we strive to provide competitive compensation and benefits packages.
