Together we are building sustainable performance and shaping a better future.\nRexel Canada operates under six distinct banners: Rexel Atlantic, Rexel Utility, Westburne, Nedco, LTL and Talley.\n We are currently seeking a Branch Manager to become an integral part of our Charlottetown location.\nAs a Branch Manager, your principal responsibilities will be to:\nDevelop and recommend sales strategies, marketing objectives, including sales volume and profit forecasts to the District Manager.\nMaintain and develop sales and profit objectives with assigned key accounts.\nMaintain accurate customer service measurement criteria and take appropriate action to ensure compliance with customer service standards.\nPrepare or ensure the preparation of work schedules in such a way that workflow for all areas (including counter sales and inside sales functions) are adequate to ensure compliance with customer service standards.\nHire personnel in the Branch in accordance with Company standards and procedures.\nPromote and maintain a positive work climate within the Branch.\nEnsure proper implementation and application of company policies and procedures in general, but specifically those regarding inventory control, delivery, billing and collection, and security.\nKeep track of products to determine causes for discrepancies between inventory counts and stock control records,and recommends remedial action to resolve discrepancies.\nWe are looking for someone who wants an opportunity to grow and build the territory\n A college education plus 3-5 years of related experience within the electrical distribution industry or a combination of education and experience.\nAt least 2-3 years of management or supervisory experience.\nSound business acumen to analyze financial reports and to develop. appropriate implementation strategies to meet/exceed fiscal plans and targets.\nProficiency in MS Office applications.\nAS400 experience would be an asset.\nMust have experience in the sale of electrical products/industry.\nMinimum 3 years in the electrical industry.\n What We Offer:\nOur employees enjoy a positive work-life balance while thriving in an environment that is dynamic and motivated by new and exciting challenges.\nWe provide competitive compensation, comprehensive benefits plans, and pension plans, along with a remarkable range of career opportunities-whether advancing in your current field or exploring something entirely new.
