Together we are building sustainable performance and shaping a better future.\nRexel Canada operates under six distinct banners: Rexel Atlantic, Rexel Utility, Westburne, Nedco, LTL and Talley.\n We are currently seeking a person to fill the Datacom Inside Sales Specialist in our Dartmouth location.\nIn this role you will sell a diverse range of Datacom Structured Cabling and Security Solutions servicing primarily the commercial construction market. You will also:\nProvide superior customer service by delivering products and services that exceed customer expectations.\nProcess orders to completion and expedite delivery whenever necessary.\nLiaise with outside sales and internal teams to support execution of key activities.\nProvide sales support for field sales representatives.\nEnsure outside sales are provided with up-to-date information and developments regarding common customer accounts.\nActively participate in developing new accounts: build and generate quotations, manage customer inquiries, and coordinate datacom/security projects.\nWork effectively in a team environment collaborating with Outside Sales and Datacom Management on quotation strategies, project management, and customer service.\nBuild strong customer relationships, driving value and loyalty.\nEngage Rexel Atlantic resources and personnel regularly to provide complete customer solutions and capitalize on opportunities.\n BA or Post-Secondary preferred.\n1-2 years experience in sales/sales administration, preferably in Distribution and/or Datacom/Electrical.\nProven ability to communicate effectively and build customer relationships.\nProduct and industry knowledge (Datacom and/or Electrical).\nExcellent verbal and written communication skills.\nConfident and determined approach; resilience and ability to cope with rejection.\nSelf-motivation and drive.\nExperience working with Datacom/Electrical Contractors.\nStrong organizational skills and ability to re-prioritize based on changing internal/external requests and opportunities.\nTeam-oriented, able to identify and resolve problems collaboratively.\nStrong multitasking and time management skills.\nComputer proficiency in a Windows environment, specifically Excel.\n What We Offer:\nOur employees enjoy a positive work-life balance while thriving in an environment that is dynamic and motivated by new and exciting challenges.\nWe provide competitive compensation, comprehensive benefits plans, and pension plans, along with a remarkable range of career opportunities-whether advancing in your current field or exploring something entirely new.
