The role will also involve occasional driving duties to support customer deliveries and, from time to time, assisting at the trade counter when required.\nKey Responsibilities\nOperate a reach truck safely to load, unload, and move pallets within racking systems.\nPick and pack orders accurately in line with warehouse management system (WMS) instructions.\nLoad and unload delivery vehicles, ensuring goods are secured correctly for transport.\nCarry out customer deliveries and collections as required using company vehicles.\nCarry out general warehouse duties including sorting, labelling, stock rotation and general housekeeping.\nComplete loading manifests, delivery documentation and stock records accurately.\nConduct daily pre-use checks on the reach truck and company vehicles, reporting any faults immediately.\nMaintain a clean, safe, and organised working area in line with health and safety standards.\nAssist with stock takes and cycle counts as required.\nProvide support at the trade counter when required, assisting customers and branch colleagues.\nWork collaboratively with the wider warehouse team to meet daily targets and deadlines.\nAlways follow all company health and safety policies and procedures.\n Requirements & Qualifications\nFull clean Category B driving licence (essential).\nPrevious experience operating a reach truck in a warehouse environment.\nGood understanding of manual handling and warehouse health and safety practices.\nBasic literacy and numeracy skills for completing paperwork and stock records.\nExperience using a warehouse management system (WMS) is desirable.\nReliable, punctual, and able to work as part of a team.\nFlexibility to work different shifts, or weekends as required.\nPhysical Requirements\nAbility to safely lift and move stock in line with manual handling guidelines.\nComfortable working in a warehouse environment.\nAble to remain on your feet and operate machinery for extended periods.\nHealth & Safety\nAll employees must comply with Rexel's health and safety policies, always wear appropriate PPE, and report any hazards, near-misses, or incidents to their supervisor immediately.\n Benefits:\nAdditional leave\nBike to work scheme\nCompany events\nCompany pension\nEmployee assistance program\nEmployee discount\nOn-site parking\nPrivate medical insurance\nSick pay\nStore discount\nAt Rexel we welcome people from all backgrounds with diverse perspectives and experiences.
