The company’s engagement is to provide customised and\ninnovative integrated solutions to its clients, with a focus on customer\nservice. \n\nJob Profile\nRey\n& Lenferna Ltd is seeking a results-driven Assistant HR Manager to lead HR\noperations, strengthen employee relations, and drive talent management,\norganisational effectiveness, and compliance in support of business objectives.\n\nRole & Responsibilities\nFollow closely the day-to-day delivery of HR\nservices across RL and its subsidiaries and establish appropriate service-level\nstandards.\nEnsure HR requests are handled promptly and\nprofessionally, identify process gaps and drive consistency across business\nunits and sites\nGuide supervisors and managers on employee\nrelations, grievances, disciplinary matters, workplace conflicts and\ninvestigations.\nEnsure procedures are applied consistently,\nfairly and in line with applicable employment legislation and Company policies.\nSupport the Manager- HR to understand\nbusiness current and future manpower requirements and monitor headcount against\napproved manpower plans and budgets.\nEvaluate training effectiveness and business\nimpact and develop capability-building and career development initiatives.\nCoordinate the annual Performance Management\ncycle and support managers in setting meaningful objectives and competencies.\nMonitor completion and quality of reviews,\nguide managers on performance issues and improvement plans, and analyse\noutcomes to identify development needs.\nPrepare accurate and timely HR management\nreports that highlight trends, risks and actions required, from the HR team\ngeneral dashboard\nSupport salary reviews, remuneration\nexercises, benchmarking, compensation analysis and statutory or\nremuneration-related compliance.\nMonitor compliance with employment\nlegislation and internal requirements, support HR audits and maintain\nappropriate governance and documentation.\nIdentify opportunities to simplify,\nstandardise, automate and improve HR processes and service delivery.\nManage approved project scope, milestones,\nrisks, stakeholders and reporting.\nProvide day-to-day direction and support to\nthe HR team, clarify responsibilities, distribute workloads and establish clear\nescalation mechanisms\nSet and monitor individual and team KPIs,\nconduct performance reviews, coach team members and identify capability gaps.\nDirect day-to-day HR operations and allocate\nwork within the HR team within approved policies and delegated limits.\n\nQualifications & Experience\nBachelor's degree in Human Resources\nManagement, or a related discipline.\nProfessional HR qualification or a\nPostgraduate or additional qualifications in employment law, organisational\ndevelopment or HR analytics would be advantageous.\nA minimum of 3 years of progressive HR\nexperience, including experience in a supervisory or HR management role.\nExperience managing or coordinating a\nsizeable HR team and supporting a workforce of 1,000 or more employees would be\nhighly advantageous.\nStrong exposure to operational HR and\nemployee / industrial relations.\n\nKnowledge, Skills\n& Attitude\nStrong knowledge of HR Operations, Employee /\nIndustrial Relations, Recruitment, Talent Management, Performance Management,\nLearning and Development, Compensation and Benefits and HR Compliance.\nStrong leadership, coaching, communication,\ninfluencing, negotiation, conflict-resolution and decision-making skills.\nBusiness partnering, workforce planning,\nproblem-solving, data analysis, strategic thinking and project management\ncapability.\nSound understanding of employment\nlegislation, HR governance and confidentiality requirements.\nAbility to translate HR data into clear\nbusiness insights and practical actions.\nProfessional maturity, integrity, resilience,\ncommercial awareness and ability to operate in a fast-paced industrial\nenvironment.\nProficient in Microsoft Office and HR\ninformation systems; strong written and verbal communication in English and\nFrench.\nHighly proactive, organised, collaborative,\nemployee-centric and accountable\n\nLocation: Camp Benoit, Royal Road, Petite Riviere\n\nManagement reserves the right to call only the best\ncandidates for an interview.
