The job incumbent will\noversee the supply chain to ensure required resources are identified and\nmaintained.\n\nRole & Responsibilities:\n\n Request for quotation from different suppliers &\n comparison of prices. \n\n Negotiate with suppliers for better prices and terms of\n payments. \n\n Negotiate rates and terms with transportation providers\n (trucks, ocean carriers, and air freight providers).\n\n Assess the need for material-handling equipment and\n staffing; make recommendations to ensure efficient loading, unloading,\n movement, and storage of materials. \n\n Prepare detailed reports on inventory operations, stock\n levels, and adjustments. \n\n Evaluate suppliers to achieve cost-effective deals and\n maintain trust relationships.\n\n Ensure that orders are prepared in a timely manner and\n are within budget.\n\n Manage and oversee the day-to-day activities of the\n team.\n\nQualifications &\nExperience:\nA Diploma in Procurement\nor Supply Chain & Logistics.\nAt least 3 to 5 years’\nexperience in a similar role.\n\nKnowledge, Skills &\nAttitude: \n\n Excellent\n knowledge of procurement procedures, policies, and regulations.\n\n Very good\n knowledge of M&E tools / tools management.\n\n Comprehensive\n understanding of products and product trends. \n\n Good verbal\n and written communication in both English and French. \n\n Proficient\n with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.\n\n Proper\n communication of daily planning and record progress. \n\n Proficiency in\n managing inventory.\n\n Strong\n attention to detail and accuracy. \n\n Ability to\n work under pressure and meet deadlines\n\nLocation: Camp Benoit, Royal Road, Petite Riviere\n\nManagement reserves the right to call only the best\ncandidates for an interview.
