The role will have full accountability for daily operations of the Network Infrastructure, processes, technologies (WAN, LAN, WLAN, NAC, FW, Voice) and service providers’ relationships while partnering with business unit and other functional stakeholders.\nDesign and engineering activities in collaboration with architecture, security teams as well as with the business stakeholders are part of the responsibilities as well. Directly reporting to The Director of IT Operations, this leader will interface with internal teams and managed services partners in order to maintain contractual service levels.\nYou Will Have the Opportunity to Make Great Things Happen!\nNetwork Operations and Service Delivery\nManaging operational activities and providing oversight and direction for the operation and support of IT Network systems.\nManaging issues proactively, including timely resolution and the identification of remediation opportunities. Identifying and resolving systemic issues to prevent them from repeating.\nReviewing and approving any request prioritizations. Partnering with managed service providers ensuring delivery against agreed upon service levels and striving to continually improve overall service delivery of operational activities.\nMaintaining lifecycle and currency of Network equipment and services.\nProcess Management and Continuous Improvement\nCreating and maintaining internal documentation to bring consistency, repeatability and efficiency to the day-to-day operations.\nEstablishing and maintaining standard operating procedures to maximize efficiency and measure key performance indicators, consistently working to improve those metrics.\nVendor and Partner Management\nDevelop and maintain vendor governance processes to maximize the value of delivered services and optimize operations.\nNetwork Engineering and Technology Solutions\nAssist in evaluation, design, testing and implementation of Network technology solutions and line of business applications.\nPlay an advisory role in IT projects to ensure that proposed solutions are in-line with operational capabilities of Network services tower.\nYou Will Love It Here If…\nYou listen, learn, and evolve\nYou thrive in a fast-paced environment\nYou put safety first, always\nYou are passionate about collaboration, teamwork, and achieving shared goals\nYou believe in treating all people with respect, operating ethically, and growing a diverse, equitable, and inclusive workplace\nYou are committed to improving our impact on local communities and creating positive experiences \nQualifications\nEducation/Experience\n Required\nBachelor’s degree in Computer Science or similar areas of study, or an equivalent combination of education and relevant work experience to successfully perform the essential functions of the position.\n 6+ years of work experience in an IT delivery role, preferably in Network Solutions.\n Preferred\n10+ years’ work experience in an IT delivery role, preferably in Network Solutions.\nNetwork Technology certification.\nCertification in Networking or related area from any of the major cloud service providers.\nKnowledge/Skills/Abilities\nExperience with outsourced vendor and vendor contract management, including SLA review.\nExperience identifying operational issues and recommending and implementing strategies to resolve.\nExperience analyzing and reporting data in order to identify issues, trends, or exceptions to drive improvement of results and find solutions.\nPrior experience in design, implementation and operations of IT Network solutions working with managed services provider(s).\nAbility to assess and communicate Network concepts and practices, with both business and IT stakeholders.\nKnowledge of Aruba routing/switching technologies (or equivalent), traffic engineering, and experience interpreting and taking action on alert management and performance management reports.\nCompetencies\nEnsures Accountability - Takes ownership of network service delivery, operational performance, and resolution of recurring issues.\nDrives Results - Improves network service reliability and operational efficiency through performance measurement and continuous improvement.\nManages Complexity - Evaluates network operations challenges and develops effective solutions across interconnected infrastructure and services.\nCollaborates - Partners with internal stakeholders, architecture and security teams, and managed service providers to deliver effective network services.\nPlans and Aligns - Aligns operational priorities, technology lifecycle activities, and service delivery with business requirements.\nOptimizes Work Processes - Establishes consistent operating practices and governance processes to improve efficiency and service quality.\nWant to know more?
