This position will operate onsite at our customer's world-class engineering and manufacturing facility.\nThis is a full-time position with a full benefit package listed below that includes opportunities for professional growth, direct hire by our customers, and additional opportunities within our own organization.\nContinuous Improvement Engineer\nThe Continuous Improvement Engineer supports post-production design, integration, and optimization for Earth Moving equipment. This role focuses on improving product quality and reducing warranty issues through root cause analysis, troubleshooting, and design enhancements. Collaboration with suppliers, customers, and cross-functional teams is essential to deliver efficient, cost-effective solutions.\nResponsibilities\nCompile necessary engineering information to document design solutions required for building prototypes and adopting the design with possible involvement of other functional engineers.\nWork with manufacturing, quality, product verification and validation, customer support and suppliers to develop/improve efficient and cost-effective designs\nUse of Creo and Windchill to support 2D drawings and 3-D Modeling of various components while managing part status and communicating changes.\nUsing component drawings and designs to troubleshoot issues in the fit, form, and function of mechanical/electrical components\nInvestigate and provide direction regarding necessary design improvements to reduce warranty & increase product quality.\nCommunication with suppliers and customers on product selection and integration\nRequirements\nBachelor of Science in Mechanical, Electrical, Aerospace, Agricultural Engineering or related degree\nAbility to address quality issues, determine root cause and drive to a corrective action with minimal supervision\nStrong mechanical and electrical aptitude demonstrated through work experience or hobbies\nAbility to communicate with suppliers and customers on product selection and integration\nStrong analytical, problem solving and troubleshooting skills\nDemonstrated ability to meet deadlines and commitments\nExcellent communication, both written and verbal\nAbility to thrive in a team environment\nDesired Attributes\nDesire to work in an engineering environment focusing on robust & cost-effective designs\nDesign experience or exposure to off-road mobile equipment\nExperience in 3-D Modeling Software, Creo preferred\nExperience with six sigma & lean manufacturing\nPrevious experience with Windchill or PDMLink\n2+ years of relevant industry experience\nStrong understanding of GD&T\nVisa sponsorship is NOT available for this position.\nPay Range: $65,000-$95,000 - Commensurate with experience\nAbout RFA Engineering\nRFA Engineering has provided product development and engineering services to industry leading customers since 1943.
