The selected candidate will work with an experienced engineering staff using state-of-the-art engineering tools & processes. This position will operate onsite at our customer's world-class engineering and manufacturing facility.\nThis is a full-time position with a full benefit package listed below that includes opportunities for professional growth, direct hire by our customers, and additional opportunities within our own organization.\nElectrical Engineering Technician\nThis role will work closely with engineers, suppliers, manufacturing teams, and customers to support electrical system implementation, create and maintain technical documentation, troubleshoot electrical systems, and assist with prototype and production activities. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on electrical aptitude, experience interpreting electrical schematics, and familiarity with CAD tools such as Creo and Windchill.\nResponsibilities\nSupport engineers with electrical system and component integration activities.\nCreate and maintain 2D drawings, wiring diagrams, and technical documentation.\nAssist with 3D modeling and electrical routing activities using Creo and Windchill.\nCollaborate with manufacturing, quality, validation, customer support, and suppliers to support product improvements and issue resolution.\nTroubleshoot electrical systems using schematics, wiring diagrams, and diagnostic tools.\nSupport prototype builds, testing, and validation activities.\nAssist in identifying root causes of electrical and assembly-related issues and support implementation of corrective actions.\nProvide technical support for assembly line and production challenges.\nCollect, organize, and document test results, engineering changes, and design updates.\nSupport product verification activities to ensure systems meet functional and quality requirements.\nCommunicate with suppliers and internal teams regarding component selection, installation, and issue resolution.\nRequirements\nAssociate or Bachelors Degree in Electrical Engineering Technology, Electronics Technology, Mechatronics, Industrial Technology, or a related technical field.\nEquivalent technical experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.\nStrong electrical and mechanical aptitude demonstrated through education, work experience, military experience, or hands-on projects.\nAbility to read and interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical drawings.\nStrong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.\nExcellent verbal and written communication skills.\nAbility to work effectively in a team environment and meet project deadlines.\nDesired Attributes\nExperience with Creo, Windchill, or similar CAD/PDM systems.\nExperience supporting electrical systems, wiring harnesses, sensors, or electronic components.\nKnowledge of GD&T and engineering drawings.\nExperience troubleshooting electrical systems and equipment.\nKnowledge of off-road equipment, agricultural machinery, construction equipment, or similar mobile machinery.\nExperience supporting prototype builds, testing, or manufacturing operations.\nFamiliarity with quality tools such as root cause analysis and corrective action processes.\nExperience operating off-road mobile equipment.\nVisa sponsorship is NOT available for this position.\nPay Range: $65,000-$90,000 - Commensurate with experience\nAbout RFA Engineering\nRFA Engineering has provided product development and engineering services to industry leading customers since 1943.
