This would be a hybrid position based out of our corporate office in Eden Prairie, MN.\nEmbedded Systems Engineer: Product Owner\nAs a Product Owner you would lead a software engineering team on development of cutting-edge applications for precision agriculture technology using tools and processes commonly found in the automotive industry.\nResponsibilities\nCollaborating with prospective users and clients to understand and anticipate their needs and translate them into product requirements\nDefining the vision for the team’s product\nCreating a product road map based on this vision\nManaging the product backlog and prioritizing them based on changing requirements\nOverseeing all stages of product creation including design and development\nDeveloping user stories\nMonitoring and evaluating product progress at each stage of the process\nLiaising with the product team and end-users to deliver updates\nParticipating in Scrum meetings and product sprints\nRequirements\nBachelor's or Master's of Science degree in Computer Science or Electrical Engineering, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering or related degree\n10+ years of demonstrated experience in embedded software engineering.\nIn-depth knowledge of Scrum and Agile Software Development Methodology\nWorking knowledge of product development architecture\nProficiency in the use of analytic tools\nAbility to prioritize effectively\nExcellent knowledge of user-centered design principles\nUnderstanding of design quality standards\nAbility to lead a team of developers\nDesired Attributes\nExperience with CAN J1939, ISOBUS (ISO11783) and other commonly used vehicle communication protocols \nExperience with C, C++, C#, Qt, and Simulink MBSD\nGeneral knowledge of vehicles including automotive, off-highway and industrial applications\nVisa Sponsorship is NOT Available for this position.\nPay Range $90,000-$130,000 - commensurate with experience\nAbout RFA Engineering\nRFA Engineering has provided product development and engineering services to industry leading customers since 1943.
