Opportunities may include cloud-based applications, connected equipment platforms, data management systems, software integrations, distributed architectures, and enterprise technology solutions.\nResponsibilities\nDesign, develop, test, and maintain enterprise software applications and services.\nDevelop software features using Java, Spring, Spring Boot, and related technologies.\nSupport development and maintenance of RESTful APIs and service-based architectures.\nDesign, build, and support scalable microservices and distributed software systems.\nParticipate in software architecture, design reviews, and technical planning activities.\nDevelop and maintain automated tests to support software quality and reliability.\nSupport software integration, deployment, and release activities.\nPerform code reviews and contribute to software development best practices.\nCollaborate with software developers, quality engineers, and product teams to deliver high-quality software solutions.\nTroubleshoot software issues and support root cause investigations.\nCreate and maintain technical documentation supporting software development activities.\nParticipate in Agile development activities including sprint planning, backlog refinement, standups, and retrospectives.\nSupport continuous improvement initiatives focused on performance, quality, security, and maintainability.\nRequirements\nBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, Information Systems, Electrical Engineering, or related technical discipline.\n\nExperience with software development, application development, systems integration, or related technical projects.\nExperience developing software applications using Java.\nStrong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.\nStrong verbal and written communication skills.\nAbility to work effectively within a collaborative software development team.\nAbility to manage multiple priorities and meet project deadlines.\nDesire to learn new technologies and continuously develop technical skills.\nDesired Attributes\nExperience with Spring Framework and Spring Boot.\nExperience developing RESTful APIs and service-oriented applications.\nExperience working with microservices and distributed software architectures.\nExperience with cloud-based software applications and distributed architectures.\nExperience designing scalable and maintainable software solutions.\nExperience supporting enterprise software platforms and high-availability applications.\nExperience with modern database technologies and data modeling concepts.\nExperience using build, test, dependency management, and CI/CD tools.\nExperience working with event-driven architectures and messaging systems.\nExperience working within Agile or Scrum software development environments.\nExperience contributing to technical planning, estimation, and software architecture discussions.\nKnowledge of modern software security principles and secure development practices.\nDesire to work in an engineering environment focused on delivering high-quality software products and customer value.\nVisa sponsorship is NOT available for this position.\nPay Range: $95,000 - $135,000 - Commensurate with experience\nAbout RFA Engineering\nRFA Engineering has provided product development and engineering services to industry leading customers since 1943.
