This role serves as the primary liaison between engineering, supply chain, manufacturing, purchasing, operations, and product support teams to ensure product changes are effectively introduced while minimizing disruptions, inventory risk, scrap, and rework.\nResponsibilities\nServe as the primary point of contact for the supply chain impact of continuous improvement and product change initiatives.\nCoordinate implementation activities across engineering, purchasing, manufacturing, operations, quality, and product support teams.\nAssess and communicate the effects of engineering changes throughout the value chain.\nDevelop and maintain visibility of active and upcoming product improvement projects.\nManage component phase-in and phase-out activities across multiple manufacturing and distribution locations.\nMonitor and communicate implementation timing, inventory impacts, and expected effectiveness dates.\nIdentify and mitigate risks associated with product changes, inventory obsolescence, scrap, and rework.\nGather and maintain component and equipment effectivity information to support implementation planning.\nDevelop reports, dashboards, and visualizations that provide program status and implementation metrics.\nCollaborate with operations and supply chain teams to identify opportunities for process improvement and operational efficiency.\nCoordinate product support inventory requirements and facilitate stocking requests as needed.\nProvide guidance and best practices related to supply chain readiness for product changes.\nDrive continuous improvement initiatives that enhance implementation effectiveness and reduce value chain disruptions.\nParticipate in occasional visits to manufacturing, supplier, testing, or engineering facilities as required.\nRequirements\nBachelor’s degree in Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Business, Operations Management, or a related field.\n3+ years of professional experience in engineering, supply chain, manufacturing, operations, project management, or related technical roles.\nStrong project management and organizational skills.\nExperience coordinating activities across multiple functions and stakeholders.\nWorking knowledge of supply chain principles, inventory management, and product implementation processes.\nAbility to work effectively with cross-functional teams.\nProficiency with Microsoft Office applications.\nAbility to travel up to 10%.\nDesired Experience\nExperience supporting engineering change management or product lifecycle management processes.\nKnowledge of manufacturing, operations, quality, purchasing, and product development functions.\nExperience with reporting tools, dashboards, and data visualization.\nFamiliarity with continuous improvement methodologies.\nExperience leading cross-functional projects and process improvement initiatives.\nUnderstanding of inventory planning, material flow, and supply chain optimization practices.\nAbility to drive organizational change and influence stakeholders without direct authority.\nVisa sponsorship is NOT available for this position.\nPay Range: $60,000-$95,000 commensurate with experience\nAbout RFA Engineering\nRFA Engineering has provided product development and engineering services to industry leading customers since 1943.
