This role is ideal for someone with strong general ledger accounting experience who enjoys taking ownership of the month-end close process.\nWork Arrangement: first 2 weeks will ideally be onsite for training, followed by a hybrid schedule of up to 2 days onsite per week.\nEngagement Type: 6 months\nWhat You Will Work On\nOwn weekly bank and credit card activity, including reconciliations. \nManage accruals, prepaid expenses, and operating expense (OPEX) accounting. \nReview payroll accounts and investigate discrepancies. \nPrepare and post month-end journal entries. \nManage month-end close tasks and workflows. \nPerform variance analysis and provide clear, insightful commentary. \nSupport audits by preparing schedules, documentation, and requested information. \nWhat You Will Bring\nStrong experience in general ledger accounting and month-end close. \nHands-on knowledge of bank and credit card reconciliations, accruals, prepaids, and journal entries. \nExperience reviewing OPEX and payroll accounts. \nNetSuite experience preferred. \nFamiliarity with Coupa, Ramp, and FloQast is a plus. \nStrong ERP experience with other platforms will also be considered. \nExcellent attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment. \nWhat You Can Expect\nAn inspirational place for you to do your best work, be engaged in meaningful ways, and continually develop the skills, competencies and qualities that set our team apart.\nCompensation commensurate with your qualifications, experience, and other factors including geographic location, market and operational factors. \nTotal Rewards include: Medical, Dental, Vision, Life Insurance, Disability Insurance, 401(k) Savings Plan, Employee Stock Purchase Plan, Professional Development Program, Paid Time Off and Paid Sick Time (in geographies where legally required).\nWhat We Do\nAt RGP, we're creating a future where businesses produce their best work without constraints.
