This role follows our hybrid work arrangement, with team members working in the office Monday through Thursday and remotely on Fridays.\n Design, develop, and support AI-enabled software solutions and automation capabilities.\n\nBuild and maintain integrations with generative AI platforms, large language models, copilots, and AI services.\n\nDevelop internal AI tools, agents, and workflows that improve engineering productivity and operational efficiency.\n\nPartner with product managers, architects, and engineering teams to identify opportunities where AI can accelerate delivery and improve outcomes.\n\nImplement AI capabilities within software development, testing, documentation, and support processes.\n\nDevelop APIs, services, and cloud-based applications that leverage AI technologies.\n\nEvaluate model performance, prompt effectiveness, accuracy, and reliability while continuously improving solution quality.\n\nFollow established AI governance, security, privacy, and compliance requirements.\n\nMonitor emerging AI trends and contribute ideas for new use cases and future capabilities.\n\nCollaborate with teammates to document solutions, share knowledge, and advance organizational AI maturity.\n\n Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, Data Science, Artificial Intelligence, or a related technical field.\n\n7+ years of experience in software engineering, cloud engineering, solution architecture, or related technical disciplines.\n\n2+ years of hands-on experience implementing AI, Generative AI, machine learning, intelligent automation, or AI-powered software solutions.\n\nProven track record leading the adoption of new technologies and driving transformational initiatives across multiple teams or business functions.\n\nDeep understanding of modern software development practices, cloud-native architectures, APIs, microservices, DevOps, CI/CD, and Agile delivery methodologies.\n\nExperience building and deploying solutions using platforms such as Azure OpenAI, GitHub Copilot, Microsoft Copilot, Claude, AWS Bedrock, Databricks, or similar AI technologies.\n\nStrong knowledge of Large Language Models (LLMs), Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), AI agents, prompt engineering, model evaluation, and AI governance principles.\n\nDemonstrated ability to influence technical direction across engineering, product management, quality assurance, operations, and business stakeholders.\n\nExperience establishing standards, best practices, architectural patterns, and governance frameworks for emerging technologies.\n\nStrong communication and presentation skills with the ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear business outcomes for both technical and executive audiences.\n\nExperience mentoring engineers, driving technical excellence, and fostering technology adoption across an organization.\n\nPassion for innovation and applying AI to improve engineering productivity, software quality, customer experiences, and business performance.\n\nExperience with connected products, IoT platforms, smart home ecosystems, digital customer experiences, or SaaS platforms is strongly preferred.\n\nAt Rheem, how you achieve results is as important as the results you achieve.
