The engineer will also support safety compliance, improvement/optimization initiatives, and provide technical guidance across multidisciplinary teams to achieve sustainable operational excellence.KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:\nPerform mechanical and process data analysis, root cause investigations, and implement improvements to enhance plant efficiency, reliability, and productivity.\nDesign, and specify process/mechanical equipment (pumps, compressors, heat exchangers, vessels, trolleys, piping systems, utilities, tooling, machinery, automation etc) according to project and industry standards.\nPrepare and update engineering documentation such as mechanical drawings, process Flow Diagrams, piping & instrumentation diagrams (P&ID)\nequipment datasheets, and material specifications.\nLead and coordinate mechanical engineering activities across all project stages: design, procurement, installation, commissioning, and handover.\nManage contractors and suppliers, ensuring compliance with technical specifications, quality standards, schedules, and budget requirements.\nParticipate in and provide mechanical expertise during HAZOP studies, risk assessments, design reviews, and safety audits.\nDrive continuous improvement initiatives in mechanical/process systems to reduce downtime, increase energy efficiency, and optimize plant performance.\nTroubleshoot plant issues, providing first-line technical support for breakdowns, and process deviations.\nSupport implementation of Process Safety Management (PSM), ensuring mechanical compliance with regulatory and company standards.\nLead and support modification projects (MOCs) involving upgrades, debottlenecking, and optimization of process/mechanical systems.\nSupport and mentor, sharing best practices in mechanical design and process engineering.\nEvaluate manufacturing process by designing in collaboration with Continuous Improvements engineers and conducting research;
