As an Electromechanical Technician I, you're fully trusted with mechanical and hydraulic assembly, growing into pneumatic and electrical work, and occasionally on-site with customers on select projects. \nWhat You’ll Do \nAssemble custom products and systems by following blueprints provided by the Engineering team \nPerform mechanical, pneumatic, electrical, and hydraulic assembly \nPerform installation, testing, and repair of industrial mechanical, hydraulic, electrical, and pneumatic equipment used on Rheo projects \nRead and interpret product and project documentation, including safety rules, operator's manuals, maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals \nCollaborate with the Engineering and Fabrication teams to ensure accuracy of the final workpiece \nProvide design input to Engineering from an assembly/operator perspective \nPerform and record routine maintenance on machine tools and equipment \nReview all parts for an assembly and confirm accuracy against the general assembly drawing \nProvide occasional on-site support for customers during installs, warranty claims, and repairs \nOccasionally apply surface finishes using pneumatic polishing tools \nOccasionally clean products post-assembly and/or testing \nWhat We’re Looking For \nExperience \nHigh School Diploma or GED \nProven work experience assembling or maintaining custom mechanical projects or products from blueprints \nProven experience safely working with a variety of hand tools, power tools, and simple machine tools \nSoftware \nFamiliarity with Microsoft Office programs (Word, Excel, Outlook) \nFamiliarity with Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) software (Epicor Kinetic preferred) \nTraits \nSuperb Communication - you get your ideas, instructions, and points across clearly and naturally \nDetail-Orientation - high attention to detail and highly organized \nExtreme Ownership - you see a project through from beginning to end, no matter the obstacle \nTeam Spirit - your presence makes the team better and happier \nSelf-Starter - you don't wait to be told what to do; you get what you need to get things done \nValues Alignment \nInitiative: instinct for taking action to improve, solve, and deliver. \nCollaboration: proactive communication with your stakeholders. \nCompetence: ability to do your job well. \nReliability: persistent follow-through on commitments. \nBold Humility: courage to speak, act, and listen without arrogance. \nPreferred Qualifications \nAssociate's degree or certification as a Mechanic, Industrial Electrical Technician, or related technical field \nWhy Rheo?\nSteady work in a stable industry - the equipment you build helps make life-saving medicine, and that work doesn’t dry up\nAll first shift, with flexible start and end times and the option to frontload your hours\nA small shop with low turnover where you’re a name, not a number\nReal variety - custom work, not the same part over and over\n Benefits \nLeading medical insurance - consistently low rates compared to other businesses in the area \nHealth Savings Account with employer contributions (plan-dependent) \nDental, vision, and life insurance \nShort-term and long-term disability \nIdentity theft insurance \n401(k) with 4% employer match \nGenerous PTO \nPaid paternity and maternity leave \nPaid cell phone plan with stipend for a new phone every 2 years \nEmployee referral program \nWorking Conditions \nThis is a shop-floor position. You must be able to bend/stoop, climb stairs and ladders, squat, kneel, push/pull, lift up to 50 lbs, and use vibratory and other basic tools. Standard 8-hour workday, first shift. Overtime as requested by your supervisor.
