We work with some of the biggest production companies in the business and provide labor to venues of all sizes.\nThe A1 position is responsible for the live sound system, technical execution and live front-of-house (FOH) mixing for primary show environments and general sessions.\nKey Responsibilities:\nDirect the configuration, placement, tuning (\"ringing out\") and striking of the entire event audio system.\nMix high-profile live audio from the Front-of-House (FOH) console, balancing musicians, vocalists and presenters, panel mics and audio/video playback systems.\nOversee the Audio Assist (A2) to manage wireless RF microphone frequencies and coordinate mic placement backstage.\nCollaborate with the Producer and Show Caller to track live event cues.\nWork Schedule : This is an on-call, as needed (W-2) positions. Hours will vary; including nights, weekends and holidays and there is no minimum guarantee of hours per week, month, etc.\nCompensation: from $30 / hour (DOE)\nRhino Staging is celebrating 35 years with a simple philosophy of doing things right and treating people well. We’ve pioneered many positive changes in the entertainment industry over the years and will continue to do so through our commitment to integrity, safety and professional development.\nRequirements\nQualifications:\n3-5+ years of live audio engineering experience for large-scale live productions and/or corporate events.\nAdvanced mastery of major digital and analog mixing consoles (e.g. Yamaha, Soundcraft, DiGiCo).\nStrong knowledge of Dante networking, frequency coordination and room-tuning software.\nPhysical Requirements:\nAbility to push, pull and lift at least 50 lbs. as required for equipment handling.\nAbility to consistently walk, stand, bend, stoop & twist as required for on-site tasks.\nOther Requirements:\nReliable source of transportation to get to and from event sites in a timely manner\nMust understand general industry terms and fundamental principles\nMust be willing to work indoors or outdoors under varying weather conditions\nMust be willing to work cohesively with teammates and supervisors\nMust wear appropriate attire and footwear for concert / corporate events as outlined in Rhino policies\nMust be able to communicate effectively in English to ensure the safe execution of tasks and coordination with crew and clients*\nMust be 18 yrs of age or older\nHigh School diploma or equivalent\nIf you feel you would be a great fit for this position and align with our mission to be the best at what we do, we invite you to submit an application.
