This role serves as a key coordination point between production, purchasing, engineering, and quality to balance demand, capacity, and material availability while supporting operational excellence.\nKey Responsibilities:\nDevelop and maintain detailed production schedules based on customer demand, work orders, material availability, and capacity constraints \nSequence work orders to optimize labor, equipment utilization, and throughput \nMonitor schedule adherence and proactively address constraints, delays, or disruptions \nCollaborate closely with production, Buyer/Planner, engineering, and quality teams to ensure alignment and execution \nAdjust schedules in response to material shortages, engineering changes, or priority shifts \nCommunicate schedule changes, priorities, and risks clearly to internal stakeholders \nMaintain accurate scheduling data and parameters within ERP/MRP systems \nTrack and report key scheduling metrics such as on-time delivery, schedule attainment, and capacity utilization \nSupport new product introductions and engineering changes by integrating them into production schedules \nParticipate in daily/weekly production meetings to review status, risks, and priorities \nAssist with continuous improvement initiatives related to scheduling, workflow efficiency, and lead-time reduction \nSupport inventory accuracy by aligning schedules with material planning and production readiness \nEnsure compliance with company policies, safety standards, and quality requirements \nEducation and/or Work Experience Requirements:\nPre-employment Qualifications: Pass pre-employment drug screen, acceptable background check results including criminal history.\nEducation and/or Experience: Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Operations, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or equivalent work experience. 2+ years of experience in a manufacturing scheduling, planning, or production control role. Experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment is preferred.\nLanguage Skills: Individuals must have good written and oral communication skills.\nReasoning Ability: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent organizational and planning abilities. Strong ability to analyze capacity, constraints, and production flow. Effective communication and collaboration skills. Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Strong attention to detail and a high level of accuracy.\nComputer Knowledge and Skills: Proficiency in ERP/MRP systems such as Acumatica, SAP, Oracle, or Microsoft Dynamics. Strong organizational and planning system skills with the ability to utilize system tools to analyze production schedules and workflows. Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel, to support data analysis and reporting. Familiarity with lean manufacturing, finite scheduling, and just-in-time (JIT) principles is preferred.
