In this client- and stakeholder-facing role, you will configure and optimize the Dynatrace Unified Observability Platform across cloud, hybrid, and on-premises environments including leading PowerConnect App implementation, configuration, and customization for SAP observability to help engineering and operations teams reduce mean time to resolution (MTTR), improve application performance, and build a mature observability practice. You'll work independently on well-defined engagements while collaborating with senior architects on more complex initiatives.\nKey Responsibilities\nLead PowerConnect App implementation, configuration, and customization within Dynatrace to extend observability into SAP environments. \nCustomize and maintain PowerConnect's dashboard library, log processing, and metric extraction rules to reflect each customer's SAP landscape and business processes. \nOnboard applications, infrastructure, and cloud workloads (AWS, Azure, or GCP; Kubernetes and Docker) for full-stack monitoring. \nDesign, build, and maintain custom dashboards, alerting profiles, workflows, and analytics using Dynatrace Query Language (DQL) and Grail. \nMonitor application performance and availability; lead troubleshooting and root-cause analysis, leveraging Davis AI causal insights. \nConfigure Synthetic Monitoring, Real User Monitoring (RUM), APM, and Log Monitoring to close observability gaps. \nConduct health assessments and architecture reviews, and deliver clear, actionable best-practice recommendations. \nIntegrate Dynatrace with ITSM and collaboration tools such as ServiceNow, Jira and Slack. \nSupport OpenTelemetry and distributed-tracing initiatives across microservices architectures. \nPartner with Product Development and Product Support teams and drive continuous improvement in system functionality and reliability. \nLead customer and internal enablement workshops, training sessions, and operations review meetings. \nMaintain clear technical documentation, implementation guides, and runbooks. \nMentor junior consultants and contribute to internal observability standards and best practices. \nRequirements\nRequired Qualifications\nBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience. \n1-3 years of experience in Application Performance Management (APM), observability, or related IT infrastructure roles. \n1+ years of hands-on experience implementing and administering Dynatrace (or comparable APM/observability tooling). \nPractical experience with at least one major cloud platform (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes). \nWorking knowledge of one or more programming/scripting languages (Java, .NET, Python, or JavaScript). \nSolid understanding of distributed systems, microservices, and modern web application architectures. \nStrong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to diagnose complex performance issues under pressure. \nExcellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to translate technical findings into business impact for non-technical stakeholders. \nPreferred Qualifications\nDynatrace Certified Associate or Dynatrace Certified Professional certification. \nPrior consulting, client-facing, or project management experience. \nFamiliarity with OpenTelemetry, Grail/DQL, and Davis AI-driven anomaly detection. \nExperience with SAP environments (S4HANA, ECC, BW, PI/PO, HANA) and PowerConnect or similar SAP-to-observability integration tools. \nExperience with CI/CD tooling (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI/CD) and infrastructure-as-code (Terraform, Ansible). \nExposure to relational database technologies (Oracle, SQL Server, DB2). \nITIL Foundation certification or familiarity with ITSM processes. \nBenefits\n Employment for this role is structured through an Employer of Record (EOR) in your country of residence.\nFull statutory benefits and entitlements for the country of residence -
