You will be hired and onboarded with RhynoCare as an Independent Contractor.\nAt RhynoCare, we’re committed to your success. We offer competitive compensation, flexible scheduling options, and ongoing support so you can focus on what you do best - delivering exceptional care.\nResponsibilities\nServes food to residents according to individual diets and preferences. \nResponsible for portion control of food items. \nResponsible for safety precautions in assigned area and report unsafe incidents or safety concerns to management, \nResponsible for safe operation of equipment including documenting pot wash, dishwasher, refrigerators and freezer temperatures, and appropriate follow-up as necessary. \nDelivery of catering to assigned locations throughout the hospital, including pick-up of dirty dishes for ware washing. \nObserves time limits for meal serving and maintain foods at proper serving temperature. \nAssist cooks to clean and prepare uncooked foods, clear plates and trays, loads and operates dishwasher. Cleans pots, pans and cooking utensils as per procedure. \nParticipates in proper storage and labeling of dietary supplies and food, including leftovers. \nResponsible for Check and document temperatures and/or taste of items being prepared and/or served, according to pre-established guidelines and procedures, including HACCP (hazardous analysis critical control point). \nInitiate and complete necessary corrective action for unsatisfactory temperature/quality of food and ensure appropriate documentation, rotating stock and monitoring expiry dates of food and products. Ensure that only products with the highest integrity are used. \nResponsible for proper cleaning and sanitation of equipment, utensils and individual work areas. \nHere’s What You’ll Need: \nAdheres to established departmental policies, procedures regarding quality assurance, fire, safety, environment, and infection control. \nAssembles nourishment carts. Stocks unit kitchenettes. \nParticipates in facility meetings as assigned.
