The Company focuses on improving patient care through the use of patient-friendly devices and mobile communications to diagnose and treat heart disease faster.\nPOSITION SUMMARY:\nWe are seeking a skilled EHR Integration Specialist to lead the deployment, configuration, and management of data interfaces between our cardiac device monitoring platform and healthcare providers' Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems.\nIn this role, you will be the core technical owner of our integration pipeline. You will ensure that vital cardiac monitoring reports seamlessly and securely flow into clinical charts. The ideal candidate brings strong hands-on experience building custom interface pathways using Mirth Connect, writing production-grade JavaScript, and working directly with hospital IT teams from a remote environment.\nKEY RESPONSIBILITIES:\nInterface Development: Build, configure, and maintain robust, high-availability integration workflows using the Mirth Connect interface engine.\nCustom Scripting: Write clean, efficient JavaScript scripts within Mirth to handle complex data transformations, filtering, and custom routing logic.\nDatabase Management: Query, update, and manage relational databases using SQL to validate data integrity and track interface performance metrics.\nStandards Mapping: Design and map interface payloads utilizing HL7 (v2/v3) messaging standards and emerging FHIR APIs.\nDeployment & Testing: Lead remote end-to-end testing cycles with hospital IT personnel, validating interface configurations in test environments before driving them to production.\nTier 3 Support: Serve as the technical point of contact to troubleshoot and resolve advanced interface dropouts, database connection issues, or transmission failures.\nREQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:\nExperience: 3+ years of hands-on experience working in Healthcare IT with a focus on EHR system integrations.\nCore Interface Skills: Proven, practical experience developing and managing channels within the Mirth Connect (NextGen Connect) integration engine.\nProgramming: Proficiency in JavaScript for writing custom transformers, filters, and scripts within an integration environment.\nHealthcare Standards: Deep understanding of HL7 messaging structures and interface protocols (TCP/IP, LLP, SFTP, VPN).\nRemote Work: Proven ability to work independently in a fully remote environment, managing multiple hospital deployment timelines effectively.\nEducation: Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Health Informatics, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).\nPREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:\nDatabase Skills: Solid experience writing SQL queries and managing relational databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, SQL Server, MySQL).\nDomain Knowledge: Prior experience working with cardiac device clinics, electrophysiology data, or remote medical device monitoring workflows.\nProfessional certifications in HL7/FHIR or vendor-specific EHR badges (e.g., Epic Bridges).\nBENEFITS:\nCompetitive salary and bonus structure\nHealth, dental, and vision insurance\nRetirement savings plan - 401(k) - with company match\nPaid time off (PTO) and holidays\nProfessional development and training opportunities\nEmployee wellness programs\nRMX Monitoring, LLC is an equal opportunity employer.
