You will play a key role in designing, developing, and maintaining high-quality software solutions with a strong emphasis on Next/React JS for the frontend and API middleware for the backend with scalable user interfaces for our luxury Maisons.\nYou will leverage your understanding of composable architectures and modern frontend development principles to build scalable, maintainable, and performant applications. The ideal candidate will be a strong collaborator, capable of working transversally across different platforms and contributing to the overall success of our technology initiatives.\nIn this role, you will work on challenging, high-impact projects, collaborating with Software Engineers, Product Analysts and Architects to design and implement cutting-edge front-end solutions. Your expertise will ensure full alignment with Richemont’s digital, mobile and web standards, delivering seamless customer experiences.\nYou will operate in a global, multi-time-zone environment, engaging with teams at different management levels to ensure integration, scalability, and performance across digital platforms.\nYou will help improve efficiency, code quality, and system architecture while ensuring alignment with Richemont’s technology ecosystem.\nKEY RESPONSIBILITIES\nFrontend Development:Develop and maintain user interfaces using Next/React JS, ensuring a responsive, accessible, and engaging user experience.\nImplement and adhere to the latest frontend development principles and best practices, including component-based architecture, state management, and testing.\nWrite clean, well-documented, and testable code.\nParticipate in code reviews to ensure code quality and knowledge sharing.\n\nMiddleware Development:Design, develop, and maintain API middleware to support frontend functionality and integrate with various backend systems.\n\nArchitecture & Design:Contribute to the design and implementation of composable architectures, promoting code reuse, maintainability, and scalability.\nLead in architectural discussions.\nLead in code reviews and promote best practices. \n\nTesting & Quality Assurance:Track overall and maintain high code quality KPI.\nWrite unit, integration, and end-to-end tests to ensure the quality and reliability of the software.\nAssist QA Engineers and Test Managers in defining test strategies and automation frameworks. \nParticipate in testing and debugging efforts.\n\nREQUIRED SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS\nTechnical Skills\n5+ years of experience in Front end development, including design, and implementation: Swift, Next/React, CSS, Node.js, npm.\nSolid understanding of frontend development principles and best practices (e.g., responsive design, accessibility, performance optimization).\nUnderstanding of composable architectures and microservices. \nHands-on experience managing website development and delivery. \nExperience with API middleware development. \nKnowledge of Docker-based deployments.\nProficiency in unit, integration, and system testing methodologies.\nTooling\nNext/React.js, Typescript, HTML, CSS, Vue.js, Tailwind.\nCode Quality & Security: SonarQube, Snyk, Selenium, Insomnia.\nPerformance, Monitoring: Octoperf, Datadog.\nAtlassian Suite (Confluence/Jira).\nExpress.js, RESTful APIs (Swagger/OpenAPI).\nSoft Skills\nStrong problem-solving and analytical skills. \nExcellent communication and ability to work with multinational, cross-functional teams. \nProactive, self-driven, and eager to explore new technologies. \nAbility to work in a
