As we continue to evolve our portfolio of intelligent document processing, workflow automation and office print solutions, we're looking for a Global Technical Consultant to join our European team.\nThis is an exciting opportunity for a highly skilled technical professional to act as a trusted advisor, solution architect and subject matter expert, helping some of Europe's largest organisations modernise their print and workflow environments.\nWorking across multiple countries and business units, you'll play a pivotal role in designing innovative customer solutions, supporting strategic sales opportunities and influencing the future direction of Ricoh's technology portfolio.\nWhat You'll Be Doing\nAs our Global Technical Consultant, you'll work at the intersection of technology, consulting and customer transformation.\nYou'll collaborate with sales, delivery and product teams across Europe to design and implement robust, scalable solutions that address complex customer challenges while driving business value.\nKey responsibilities include:\nTechnical Solution Design & Architecture\nLead customer discovery workshops and technical requirements gathering\nDesign end-to-end office print and workflow automation solutions\nProduce solution architectures, technical specifications and proof-of-concept designs\nEnsure solutions are scalable, secure and aligned with Ricoh standards and best practices\nStrategic Pre-Sales Consultancy\nProvide technical leadership throughout customer engagements\nSupport bids, tenders, RFPs and strategic sales opportunities\nDeliver compelling demonstrations, presentations and customer workshops\nAdvise customers on solution feasibility, integration and business outcomes\nSolution Delivery & Implementation\nLead or support the deployment of customer solutions across diverse environments\nValidate solution performance through testing and pilot programmes\nEnsure successful transition into operational support teams\nAct as an escalation point for complex technical issues\nTechnical Leadership & Capability Development\nDeliver training and knowledge-sharing sessions to customers and internal teams\nHelp build technical capability across Ricoh Operating Companies throughout Europe\nShare best practices and lessons learned to drive consistency and excellence\nMentor colleagues through technical expertise and leadership by influence\nInnovation & Portfolio Development\nMaintain expert knowledge of Ricoh and partner technologies\nEvaluate emerging technologies, products and market trends\nContribute insights that influence product roadmaps and future solution development\nAct as a key voice in shaping Ricoh's evolving portfolio strategy\nYou will ideally have\nWe're interested in hearing from consultative technical professionals who combine strong customer-facing skills with deep expertise in office print, workflow automation or document management technologies.\nYou'll bring:\nProven background of substantial experience in technical consulting, technical pre-sales, solution architecture or solution delivery\nExperience within office print, document management or workflow automation environments\nStrong understanding of print and scan workflows and associated business processes\nExperience deploying software solutions within enterprise server and network environments\nExcellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to engage both technical and business stakeholders\nStrong stakeholder management, influencing and relationship-building capabilities\nA self-motivated approach with the ability to work independently across a matrix organisation\nFluent written and spoken English\nWillingness to travel across Europe as required\nDesirable Experience\nExperience with Ricoh software solutions or equivalent industry platformsRelevant industry certifications\n\nIdeally educated to Degree level or equivalent professional qualification with preference given to studies in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering or a related discipline\nKnowledge of cloud-based print solutions, workflow automation platforms and digital transformation technologies\nUnderstanding of security, compliance and governance requirements within enterprise print environments.\nIn return for your commitment, you can expect\nAt Ricoh, work should feel meaningful, supportive and fulfilling.
